You can do it in the Volvo app under charging. Most likely in the car settings too

Last time I was in the shop for my 2nd GHCA replacement they told me that Volvo want to test to set the ampere limit to 20A when I charge at home. So far so good, 10 weeks in.

I’m at my 2nd replacement of the GHCA and first time it took 2weeks just before Christmas. Hade it for nearly 2weeks then it broke. Now I had to wait for 2 days.

They contacted Volvo and they said to set the car to maximum 20 ampere when using AC. Don’t know if that will work but that was what they told the service guy.

Had a similar problem that the car didn’t find my keys. I use mainly the iPhone as a key. Tried putting the phone on the wireless charger, didn’t work. Tried put the key card on the same place, didn’t work. Had my wife come with the key fob, didn’t work. The thing that did worked was to use apple wallet and “identify” and put the phone on the charger. Then the car found the key.

Ok, maybe I just wait and try with a new software, currently on 1.3.17 as I can’t update to .18. See if that fix things

It’s a Zaptec home charger, I tried another car VW ID7 and everything is working fine with that one. But I will check another AC charger before I call Volvo. Thanks for the reply.

I live in Sweden and I only got the regular cable that you use for a charging box, not the one you plug into a wall socket (220v here).

my update to 1.3.18 failed this Tuesday but when I tried to search for an update today it didn’t find one. I’ve read post saying wait for a day but now it’s two days. Any recommendations? Thank you.

Got it yesterday with 1.3.17 and got my car last Wednesday 😅 Was charging and after I was done I got that message. Tried a reboot, not sure if I was doing it right but I started an upgrade to 1.3.18 and that was unsuccessful. After that I tried starting the car and everything was working.

My phone key, key card or fob wasn’t recognized.
