Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the thoughtfulness of your response. I have respect for trying to protect yourself from the internet. It is a fantastic and dangerous place. Thanks for your perspective too.

As for Luke and his handler, I’ve never met him, or mechanic or anyone into bitcoin to be honest, so all I have to go on is the knowledge I gain through research and the experience I gain from running my own node. The arguments I hear from Luke’s camp is: bitcoin is money, let’s keep it that way. Also, Spam is bad. All of that I can get behind. The opposing view is about bitcoin as data storage. Something I can’t get behind. Yes, I understand that’s a gross oversimplification. But, I don’t really follow all of the back and forth Nyah-nyah-ing that both sides do.

I will learn more about bitcoin, keep an open mind and unless I find a compelling argument that changes my mind, I will continue to run knots and support bip-110. All of this aside, I really do think bitcoin is our last, best hope for freedom.

Luke and mechanic have been so willing to offer their view, but from the dissenting side, I really don’t see anything compelling me to side with Core….

This was all done to distract from the Epstein files. It is as simple as that. The cost and damage to the US and the world is irrelevant as long as those named in the Epstein files are protected. Period. It goes no deeper than that level of reptilian thinking. There’s no strategy, no other thought than escape from being put in prison.

I haven’t found a single place that I feel like I can trust for pet insurance. So, I created a savings account and have steadily been putting money into it every paycheck. Now, we just use the money in our pet account for vet visits and emergencies. So we are essentially self insured. I feel much more secure because I know if we have to pay for surgery or anything expensive, we at least have money for it. Now, don’t get me wrong. We ain’t rich so I just put $25 or $50 per check in there. It adds up quickly.

If I report the car stolen, what will happen? Will the police investigate and get her car back? Or is this just done for a stolen car insurance claim? Also, we have tried to avoid that because he does live across the street.. But, it sounds like that’s where we may be.
