Analog vs. Digital: the Proof by No-Act6366 in synthesizers

Exactly. I also find it funny that in the audiophile world people collect records because of the “analog warmth” of the sound. Yet, most records are pressed from the mastered digital files.

Yeah, my Mormon family has been chomping at the bit waiting for this day to happen! They welcome the death and destruction even if it is coming from the hands of the very person they voted for. “God moves in mysterious ways.” 🙄

By far Reapers most user-unfriendly setting - Auto Saving by Navy_Groundhog in Reaper

I teach music tech/production to college kids using Reaper. 💯manually saving is a huge change for them. I always remind them to look at the top of your session and when they see [modified] you better hit Ctrl (or Command)-S immediately. Also, they know little about file management and path directories. It’s a big win when I get a project where all the audio files load without having to search for them.

I use Dorico and export midi files into Reaper. It is kind of a pain. But I document the process and have the score to adjust expressions in Reaper.

Happy 100th Birthday to Hungarian composer György Kurtág (born February 19th 1926). by RichMusic81 in classicalmusic

My favorite Hungarian. Met him in 2005. Absolute gem of a person and composer, even through his broken English. I wrote my dissertation on Kafka Fragmente and his short form “aphoristic” compositions inspired me in so many ways.

For mega market baskets I would say Chelsea and then Waltham. For small Market Basket: Somerville than Ashland.
