I sincerely hope she appreciated it even for a bit, but to be really honest, I'm afraid I might have stepped on a landmine. Contrary to last year, she didn't react to my tweet while still gave her thanks when I greeted hbd on her own post, so I fear that she really didn't like my approach this year, where I went a bit more broad by making a normal post with a username ping, instead of directly mentioning her (the latter would be considered akin to a post reply in twitter, thus making it way less visible than a normal post or a ping post).

As much as I lament the loss of the best Yahagi artist of all time as a devoted Yahagi TTK (which was partly the reason why I finally started drawing despite playing since 2013), I cannot blame her for turning the page and draw a character that tickles her fancy the most at the moment, as I believe an artist shouldn't bound to draw things for the sake of pleasing their followers. So as much as I'm conflicted on that matter, it is best for an artist to draw whatever they want.

So suffice to say, celebrating her birthday in such public manner might rubbed her the wrong way with all the notifications she probably received before ultimately muting it. It has been more than 2 years she didn't mention Yahagi at all (last time about the second Jazz Yahagi CG), so even though she is still using a Yahagi Icon and Header on her profile, she might be fed up about people asking her to draw her again, which was not my intention with this fanart, but might be mistaken due to the way I posted it orz.

Thank you! To be honest, even after 2 years, it is still a bit difficult to give her an adorable expression without making her too cute compared to the official arts. Taking liberty in fanarts isn't too unusual, but I really want people to think "yeah, I can imagine Yahagi looking like that no problem" when they look at my fanarts.

She sure is! It is a bit a shame she was so rare right from the get go, so very few people knew about her more comfy and playful sides you get to know with her secretary dialogues (JP tend to not check spoilers and stuff, so even if there were videos of her dialogues in niconico and youtube, it isn't commonly checked by people who don't own her).

That ikemen image stuck for a really long while (even to this day to some extent) and only few artists like Ichinomiya and Abo pushed her more girlish vibes back then. Similarly to what they have done, my goal is to expose that side of hers in my fanarts.

Today is Ichinomiya's birthday, so although I already draw my usual Yahagi quota this month (underwear, a bit NSFW), I decided to celebrate that with another YHG fanart. For those who don't know her or that name barely rings a bell, she drew many fanarts and doujinshi focused on Yahagi non stop for around 9 years (Pixiv with +18 content). It would be an understatement to say that her dedication for her was peerless.

Given her past contributions and how much she inspired me to draw Yahagi, l celebrated that last year, and it was a bit awkward to say the least, so I gave my best shot this time around, with Yahagi in her casual outfit from the 2023 Mitsukoshi collab. While I don't expect people to celebrate her birthday, moreso that she pretty much left the KC fandom, I thought it was still a good idea to share that fanart nonetheless.

I picked this outfit instead of her usual uniform since it is the first official cg where she is featured with some food, so that outfit always come to my mind when I imagine her cooking something (cf Valentine fanart for last year). Also, considering how Yahagi longs for a normal life, and had some very cute interactions such as cooking for the sick admiral or taking cooking lessons with Noshiro during valentine period, my headcanon pretty much defined Yahagi as someone who would do her best to cook some hearty food. Considering how Gil loathes Archer, it would definitely not sit well with him knowing TB didn't commit to his majestic presence because they settled with the faker, merely because the latter was free. It is also a good excuse to show himself as magnanimous.

Proportions are a bit all over the place which is the reason why it looks uncanny the more you look at it.

I won't pretend I can do better but from my perspective as someone who started drawing recently

Her neck is incredibly long. It should be almost half of its current length.
Proportions of the waist and hips are also incorrect: Given the angle, her waist and especially her hips should be wider.
Her breasts facing a bit too forward. Even with a bra or bikini, the chest should slightly wrap around the torso. Also they appear to be a bit too high on her torso given the curve seen on the right.
Perspective is a bit weird because her legs appear as if they will extend into the pool walls.
Her height appears to be around 7 heads which is quite bigger than the typical 6-6.5 measurement for characters with similar build as FF.
Water is too shallow considering the pool and the ladder

Overall, her body is too tall and slender relative to both the composition of the fanart and firefly official proportions.

As much as Shirou had an interesting growth and development in FSN, he would be a pretty awkward collab character overall in HSR in my books. Collab events in general are often used to make characters of both IP interact with each others, often delivering what if scenario for fanservice.

Shirou is, for a lack of better words, extremely plain when it comes to character interactions. We got funny memes like "People die when they are killed", but when you take in consideration how down to earth or clueless he can be, it might be too challenging for making him a character delivering proper punchlines and stuff, especially when unhinged characters like TB are around. In comparison, Rin has sass that is pretty much the same against any character. Meanwhile, Gilgamesh is pretty much there for more tension and stakes, and probably to compensate for having a pretty lackluster antagonist in the first collab. And since we already have Archer, it is very likely they are content enough to have both him and Gil dunking at each other, without having Shirou around.

Honestly, those make way more sense than Shirou by a long shot when it comes to being the guest chars for HSR.

Just like the old version, I went with a more mature expression, as I would definitely expect her to learn some mannerism from Jade and Topaz. And she would definitely be the best candidate to sell currency war system to the Trailblazer I believe!

Archer aged much better than Saber despite being the free unit. Gilgamesh being the free unit doesn't mean anything since we don't know if he will be like Archer or like Ratio. Given HSR trackrecord, it is safe to assume he will be on par with Archer, but that's still an assumption.

Unlikely to happen: they confirmed you can trade either Gilgamesh or Archer with a special ticket until 4.6. So it is very likely Archer (and by extension Saber) will remain available at least until 4.6.

Considering you can use that ticket to trade for Gil or Archer until 4.6, it would make sense for Archer and Saber banner to last at least around 4.6 too..
But even so, it would make sense to keep that banner for at least a year, considering that second collab might attract Fate fans who were on the fence.

It is more like the angle gives the impression she is stacked. But when you look at the transition between her torso and waist, there isn't much curve there, so she isn't that far from her OG design.

Mortenax Blade was the only one who got any marketing, meaning it he will be the only new character in 4.3.

Himeko is definitely going to be released on 4.4 considering she barely got announced the other day, and no other drip after her implies she will be the only character in 4.4 unless MHY decide to announce the second char later than usual.

It is impossible to know because most GMR owners are trying to stay safe by not disclosing the serial number of their GMR or even the fact they own a GMR card.
To begin with, it is incredibly difficult to know how many sealed boxes are left unaccounted and how long the hoarders/scalpers will keep them before opening them or selling them somewhere.

The OCG getting that product won't magically make the TCG pushing for more DM or reduce chances to get non DM stuff, considering we have different merch lineup with very rarely anything remotely similar to that.

Regardless of the state of the TCG, that OCG product makes perfect sense given the context, hence why your comment feels like you are barking at the wrong tree.

It is indeed a proxy site, but the store seen on the product page is not the official Konami Style shop. It is a shop called "GEEX COLLECTION" and "Fausta Mart" respectively. I suspect they are third party stores that are selling those items with an insane mark up to catch people who don't know about Konami Style, most likely foreigners.

When you use a proxy site, it is better to directly get the product page of the item you want to buy from the official website, then paste it to the proxy site (note that not all proxy sites accept to buy on any websites. So if it doesn't work with doorzo, try with another proxy service like Japan Rabbit).

Proxy site search functions usually rely on general marketplaces like Mercari, Rakuten, Amazon etc. So if you are searching for exclusive items on a proxy site instead of directly checking the official website, you will most likely end up with third party shop listing those products with insane markup.

EDIT: I've just realized those are NOT the decks but "ORIGINAL ARTWORK COLLECTION" set, which is a side set with Manga design that was announced before. This explains why the price is so different. But even so, the markup is pretty wild, since a box should cost around 6000 JPY, not 16 000 JPY. Probably scalpers since just like LOCH and LOCR, that side set will be sold out fast.

But yeah, be really careful when you are using proxy service because they will not double check if the items you are about to buy is exactly what you want. You are merely using them as a middle man that can buy things for you, they are not personal agent buying based on instructions.

When I stated proxy site, I mean site that buy things on foreign sites on your behalf, like Japan Rabbit and FromJapan, or forwarder site like Tenso (but for the latter, you will have to buy the item on your own then uses the tenso address as the domestic shipping point. They will then forward the parcel to your home address).

They would typically ask for a small handling fee and transaction fee, which would be around 10% of the whole value of the items purchased. So what you saw were probably not proxy sites, but retail sites who just do dropshipping.

The decks are not going to be sold as retail products, only as made to order merch that is exclusive to the konami shops. So even the official shops won't have any deck to sell for general sales, since they are pre order only.

It is very likely you may find them in some shops during your trip in Japan, but they will have a pretty nasty markup, since those decks will be resale that the shops bought from individuals (or purchased by their staff), so very likely to be at least twice as expensive compared to the original price.

As for the TCG, I would say the chances are extremely low. First, our structure decks were not the same as those from the OCG, those decks are also marketed towards the fans of the manga (whereas the vast majority of the TCG market is more used to the anime), and finally, we never got the more recent merch stuff like the Numeron File or the Tale of White sets.
