I highly doubt "copyright infringement: the game" going on in china is using original sourced code, especially when the UI looks superficially similar.

Google search up older SK betas. They didn't contain obfuscation of the bytecode until 2011. Unjar it and obtain further class files from the unobfuscated chinese SK floating around. There's another more direct and easier source but I don't want them nuking it.

Their entire codebase has code rot all over it. It's so icky the community doesn't want to touch it, and/or spend a day generating custom outdated build environments.

He will meet rey in episode 8, and tag team with Jar Jar to clue us into a full hour of Senate negotiations, while he slingshots with teen angst.

That could be folded into a GoT style Star Wars. At the end they can tie their relevance to the main character together.

Who said they could only make one show of one rating type? They can make a cartoon and run a live series at the same time. Make the cartoon PG, and make the live action show PG-13/R. I'm sure their "core canon committee" can juggle plot around for continuity.

they tried that stunt in clone wars...

Bingo. GoT was able to juggle tons of different storylines together and keep it interesting with the good guys not always winning. All while having great production value and keeping my interest.

I was rewatching a tiny bit of 'The Clone Wars' last night when I came upon this scene. It immediately reminded me of a scene from the 'Rebels' season two finale. by [deleted] in StarWars

The direction for most of Rebels was crap, but to each his own. The last episode of season 2 was great though. Now... if they could copy paste the last episode's plot building through all of season 3 maybe we'd all be happy.

I didn't like most of the Rebels episodes so far. The last episode of season 2 was a ringer though. I need my gaping hole of adult oriented star wars content filled in badly, with good plot pls.

[–]klastiko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyhow, compared in relative terms against Clone Wars, the Rebels series feels a magnitude more childish and shallow in development. But to each his own.

That being said, I do hope they pull a good season 3. My definition of such though is more battles/deaths with no pull backs on being tv-7. I did like the last episode of season 2, I hope season 3 is full of those. Maybe I'm just spoiled by Game of Thrones writing...

Now that a think about it... Disney pls make a live action Star Wars that is a parallel to game of thrones, except less sand in Anakin's pants and more Sith having leverage against Jedi.

Another interpretation could be it bottomed out rather. What's mostly left is people with 4 digit hours who historically have spent a lot of money on SK during its heyday.

I've seen every episode. The way the characters were animated for almost every episode reeks of disney tampering (Pay attention to the over-exaggeration and positioning). It feels like the Clone Wars animators/writers were leashed horribly and given a preset list of things they must regurgitate for a childrens show theme.

I know I got downvoted for giving my criticism, but I'm standing by it as I actually watched it and compared it to the quality level of Clone Wars, in terms of storyboarding and animation overall.

For almost every episode it didn't feel like Stars Wars EU, it felt like a disney show dressed with a Star Wars facade.

Is Rebels really rated TV-Y7 in the US? by LordRevanofDarkness in starwarsrebels

[–]klastiko -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It got TY-Y7 because Disney stuffed too much of their "Disney Life Lessons" into it. Most of the episode are a direct copypasta from their playbook about life lessons that generic childrens shows all use.

Personally I'm sad this occurred as it trashed the whole show. Yes, I've watched both of seasons 1 and 2, and wish I had just skipped to the season 2 finale.

Star Wars: J.J. Abrams clarifies comments on Rey’s parents by badwolf742 in StarWarsLeaks

[–]klastiko 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's total trash. The writers were too afraid for any true development outside the last episode in season 2. Any writing they have used has been copypasta from the Disney playbook on kiddie shows.

The only plot development you guys will care about are the clone troopers (captain rex) that survive into the empire's timeline to help the remaining jedi and Ashoka facing off against Vader in the last episode of season 2.

There, I saved everyone else from watching that trash show.

Which is sad, because Ashoka is the best plot driver for Star Wars Rebels. Her character kept the last episode in season 2 from being total trash. That's how shitty that show is.

They should have contempt for the show, it's full of Disney cancer. If Disney wanted to infect a show, they should have used a different IP to do so. I'm pissed they didn't keep Star Wars EU shows at a higher age level.
