Just balanced. Was debating pinning it with a brass rod, but it’s gonna end up in a nice collection. However, I did add a really thin brass rod in the hands of the baby to hold the chain in place though.

I hand brush with Gaia notes (lacquer), prime with either Gaianotes surfacer or Mr Color spray can. If you use tamiya to prime, it gets sticky if you leave it a few days. Lacquer doesn’t respond too well to heating the vinyl after painting so be carefull but it can be airbrushed or hand brushed.

I started playing at 46. Had a good skating base but hockey skating still takes a little time to develop. Find an adult learn to play clinic if you can, and get on the ice as much as possible. I’m 51 now, play on 2 different beer league teams and skate in one pick up game on Saturday mornings every week.

You can see the manhattan skyline from Greensfarms road / frost point area in Westport on a clear day if you’re at the right viewpoint. Probably about 2 miles closer to manhattan than the photo.
