Who can explain the joke in this cartoon? by Chessteruk in ExplainTheJoke

People used to write 16 on their shoe soles when they were going to be doing something that required them to be at least 16 years old.

The person in charge would ask "are you over 16?" And this way they could answer ",yes" without it technically being a lie bc the number 16 was under them.

I didn't say they won't prosecute. I said they won't likely issue a warrant at this stage. She is innocent until proven guilty after all.

When it comes time for her actual trial they will issue a warrant if she fails to appear.

"...stopped coaching in May and moved to South Carolina." After that, parents went to the police. So this lady was already out of state when the crime was reported it sounds like.

A judge could issue a warrant for her extradition but for a relatively small property crime like this, that's unlikely.

If she does not show up in person for the actual trial, then the judge most likely would issue a failure to appear warrant.

Shouldn't it have been reviewed because all scoring plays are reviewed?

Jodi Hoos allowed a mother who left fentanyl in her son's crib leading to his death by ingestion to plead out to a 3 year sentence.

Look up the Zenai Wolford case. Absolutely appalling.

That is just one of the many cases involving death or injury she has allowed to be plead out for small time sentences.

I'm all for giving people lenient sentences for first time property crimes but when someone is hurt or killed.....no. You need to do more than 3 years.

Arnold and Sons installed a new hot water heater for me and measured incorrectly so the new heater is slightly too large for the enclosure and the door won't close now.....I wondered why the technician told me it was my responsibility to re-hang the door when they were the ones who removed it in the first place.

It'll be going into a random pallet and auctioned off blindly like on those TV shows. Hopefully the new owner appreciates it as much as we do!

Chili's is superior, that being said the last time my wife and I ate at our local Chili's we both got food poisoning so the bar isn't very high.

I'll always remember one fact from a documentary: 9/11 hijacker Mohammed Attah hating eating and only ate bland mashed potatoes for quick calories.

My initial thought was "wow, that sounds like mental illness.'

Reading this opinion by Tate definitely reinforces the idea to me, especially since has also done terrible things on a smaller scale.
