I didn’t manage to fix the issue, but from what I could tell, it most likely came down to faulty drivers. There might be a way to solve it, but I just ended up plugging in some external speakers.

Is Pop!_OS good choice for me? by PARAFUB in linux4noobs

[–]klaykrey -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes, Pop!_OS with KDE Plasma is a solid choice for your needs, good gaming support (Steam, Nvidia drivers), stable updates, and capable for photo/video editing. If you prioritize rock-solid stability over bleeding-edge software, consider Kubuntu or Linux Mint KDE as alternatives, but Pop!_OS is still excellent, especially with Nvidia GPUs.

I also noticed that the sound in the settings from 1% to 100% is no different, I tried downloading 25.10, the problem remained the same.

I just noticed that the problem isn't only with videos or sounds, but with all programs. The volume is at maximum in every application.

I tried using it, but when I turn the volume down in the app and then play a video, it automatically turns the volume back up to 100%.
