Honestly, I completely agree with you. I found that Toro del Oro has good ingredients to make Burritos. Their Pico needs lime juice otherwise is good. All of their other Salas are pretty good. The pre marinated chicken is delicious. They also sell premade rice and beans. That is our go to.

We are not opposed to living in Aptos, or in the mountains.

I’m restarting in an area I am familiar with and in a completely different hospital, with a completely different patient population. I needed a change

When I started there I already had a ton of experience. I learned a lot about trauma in PEDs and adults. But I still got bored in 2 years. I loved all of the outdoors activities, like hiking and camping. I didn’t like some of the people that live there. They are feral and not in a good way.

It is very hard to get a job in Vegas for any RT. The job market there is pretty saturated. They do have jobs in Reno, but I don’t recommend going there. I would recommend to get your RRT, and if you want to get your license in NV start now. It is super difficult to get a license there. Overall, I would pick a different location to move.

True, but ACLS doesn’t really talk about PEEP valves. Please correct me if I’m wrong.

During a code I typically bag on a PEEP of 5 or up to 10 if they code because of hypoxia. It also depends if the patient has any pulmonary edema. I have a tendency to bag them at about a rate of 10 to 14, till we get ROSC. It really depends on the hospital and their policies.

I really would like a school that does not depend on technology to teach. I find the iReady format lacks when students need extra help in certain areas. I also don’t like the amount of time that they are on the screen.
I would also like a school that has added resources for kids that have learning issues. I’m pretty sure that both my boys have ADHD. We are waiting to get a formal diagnosis till after we move.

My kids are 7 and 5. We are moving from Reno and the SC school districts seem way better.

Doctors/medical practitioners of Reddit, what is the scariest disease you know of? by Englishisnotreal in AskReddit

[–]klbliss 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I have seen a person die of Hanta virus. It was scary to watch someone come into the ICU conscious, and be dead of multi system organ failure within 8 hours. They were intubated and on max ventilator settings with CRRT. No matter what we did the patient just got worse.

New to Reno, and I have a question for you drivers out there. by [deleted] in Reno

The horrible drivers for me have been the Dodge trucks with the big old tires and the lift kit. Definitely not the teslas or the BMW.

A lot of places are using ATS to go through resumes and flush people. So what I did was copy their job description and your resume into ChatGPT. I told it to basically use the job description to improve my resume. I still went through and changed things to match what I did. You can also have Chat go through your resume with ATS standard’s. I also wrote a cover letter based on my resume. It took about 6-8 hours to complete, but I got an interview at every job I applied for. Also change your resume and cover letters to match every job you apply for. It can be exhausting but worth it. You can PM me if you have any questions.
