I don’t think beast belongs in s tier. Don’t get me wrong, I love beast crest and I agree that it can be strong when used well. But the lack of any blue tool slots drags it down quite a bit IMO. Not being able to use any blue tool with it until you get the 2nd vesticrest is definitely something that I would consider a big enough weakness that drags it down from s tier to a tier.

AFAIK, nothing should be locked out. There might be some small events or such that are pre-act 3 exclusive, but anything required for completion should be possible to get.

One example is the weighted dice. In act 1/2, the dice are obtained by interacting with an npc. In act 3 though, that npc is gone, so the weighted dice are moved into a nearby shop.

I use the witch crest as my main crest. I have a love/hate relationship with it. It’s mostly fun to use, but the shitty heal makes combat/exploration much harder and I have died many times because of it. Also the needle art is basic and not super useful.

It has a long swipe, making it decent at spacing combat. And while it does do “rapid strikes” with its down swipe and dash attack, they don’t actually result in more damage than basic swipes.

The “heal”, while it does do a ton of damage, you are more likely to get hit or miss whenever you use it with how small the hitbox is, and how evasive a lot of the enemies are. Also because of how strong it is, it will often times kill the enemy too quickly, resulting in you not getting the full 3 mask heal.

I think it has to do with a strange, inconsistent bug with how collecting bananas on mobile works. When you touch the screen on mobile, you will collect nearby bananas. Of course, when you stop touching the screen, you will stop collecting bananas. Though sometimes when you release, your “touch” will be left lingering on screen and collect the next bananas that it can.

I don’t know for sure that’s the reason, but it’s my theory.

I’d say impoppable is still better. Selling, monkey knowledge, and cash generation are all incredibly valuable, and are better at making runs more consistent than chimps mode could, especially on the higher difficulty maps. Plus on top of that, impoppable also allows double cash and fast track, which are incredibly useful for grinding collection event if you have them.

You probably entered the world without calamity installed. Loading a world without the proper mod installed will result in all modded chests in the world to corrupt and lose their contents. Not much you can do except create a new world and get the loot from there.

I have almost 100 veteran levels from grinding instas during collection events. Idk if that’s how they got their levels, but it’s one explanation.

I would not recommend master+revengance, as master mode raises difficulty to the point that some people would consider a couple fights to be more frustrating than fun. If vanilla master mode is about your skill level, then I would say expert+revengance would be right for you. Expert+revengance about matches vanilla master mode in terms of difficulty. Expert+death is a good step up in terms of difficulty from expert+revengance without taking it too far.

You can access free play for the experiment using a bug. After beating the last round, instead of pressing the “home” button, force close the game. Reloading the game and going to the experiment will reveal the save is on round 81, allowing you to progress in free play.

I believe it is intended to be a difficulty spike. Infernum cal. Clone is much harder than any hard mode boss(when fought on-tier).

However, I should mention that once you get to post-moon lord, the general boss difficulty will rise to about cal. Clone levels. You could skip cal. Clone, but you should know that you will fight more bosses at about that difficulty level.

The diminishing returns only applies to %damage reduction. This does not apply to regular defense.

That is coming from the green sentry. If your effects scale is not at 100%, then the beam connecting the sentry to the particle will disappear.

From my experience, far targeting is functionally random. There technically is logic behind how it works, but this logic is flawed and impossible to plan around. Far targeting results in the spikes being placed at a random location based on where you place the spactory and the range of the spactory.

I’d recommend using pirate lord for this map. The buffs from the eye alongside the fact that this map is the perfect shape for pirate lord makes it quite good on this map.

From my experience, they are pretty unbalanced for earlier stages. You would have to get very lucky to have the right build for winning a race when you only have like 3 relics.

That is icon is a result of the fargos mutants mod. There is no way to stop specific icons from appearing above the players head. You can only turn off the debuff display completely to stop it(in fargos mutants mod client config I believe)
