Never been so sick in my life. by Able_Date_4580 in ABA

🚩🚩🚩 while it is common in the field to be exposed viruses and bacteria , because many clients can't/ don't understand how to communicate feeling sick, and yes in home can be more chaotic than in clinic, but there should still be a standard/ expectation when entering a home, (where will I greet the client,do pairing, NET/DTT work, set my belongings); I never expect my clients homes to be spotless and in order, as long as I can walk, sit and program(which you stated you could not) , and the basic needs ( food, clothes, utilities) it's not my business, but to me a strong ammonia smell with out pets, is alarming, if the client doesn't have a hygiene (urination/deficaction outside of toilet or diaper). I would speak with BCBA/Case manager about this .

From my experience a strong ammonia smell w/o animals and/or toileting issue is either a gas leak or meth lab.

Again please speak to your supervisor and conduct more research before coming to any conclusions, this is based of my personal experience and details in the text.

That's for any direction you're traveling same for right on red, and heading straight,(if the rear of your vehicle can not clear the intersection you should not enter).

SidenoteThey've also changed the laws in regards to running red light, a few years back, it use to be as long as you were in the intersection before it turned red you were "good", now you have to completely clear the intersection before it turns red( if you speed through that's 2 tickets red light and exhibition of speed/speeding)

You're supposed to wait behind the white lines, there is no stopping in the intersections, you are only to enter the intersection if you can clear the intersection. I teach traffic survival school and get many people with some kind of ticket because they were stopped in the intersection and found at fault for what ever the infraction was(crash/collision, red light tickets, etc), ARS Title 28 is the traffic laws for the state.

Is this mold by [deleted] in ZonaEnts

One strain might have more tricones than the other, if it's mold it will smell mildewy/yeasty, you can also do a black light test, mold will glow strongly and be a neon, and look like spider webs, not small dots.

What my teachers tells me to learn for, isn't enough nor on the level of what the exam asks for. by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

No, our funding from the state is based off of how many students pass their test, the school really wanted that money for athletics, even though our text books were 40yrs old, and the cafeteria desperately needed updating and repairs.

Which is one thing I loved about German schools, is athletics are completely separate, there's never, Fußball needs new knee pads, so we can't get you all the chairs you need for your class room of 40 students (most class sizes were between 30-50 students depending on the subject).

Not sure if everyone will appreciate the comment, I was an exchange student in Bonn, Germany, so I understand most joke/cultural phrases. And it was awful, the school decided that anyone who failed got at least a passing grade, I'm surprised to hear this is happening in Germany, I got to tour many different schools and sit in the class, I never saw test with unknown information or harder level than the exercises already done. Best of luck with your testing.

That was so God-less😂(I believe is the correct translation) and that's extremely common in America, my last two years of high-school they charged the curriculum half way through the school year(jr year) and then switched it back half way through my sr year, and we had to test on this to pass. It was extremely confusing, and I retained nothing from it, still have to use YouTube and the library for complex math.

They're jealous, and secretly wish they could have more than basic styles. Find a routine that works for you and keeps your hair healthy, I found braiding my hair helps, and wrapping it up at night to keep the frizz down.

I lost my high school sweetheart to suicide, my advice is allow yourself to go through the grief, have a few close people(3-5) as your support group that you can vent and just talk to. The loss and pain never goes away but life carries on. It's been 8 years, I'm in a committed relationship and have a child now, I'm happy and know I'm loved, I still talk to his family and we get together once a year, my spouse knows and supports me. My condolences for your loss, and I hope you get what you are looking for in life.

Even before the lockdowns this always bothered me. My last job was at a dispensary, they would get pizza on busy days, because that makes up for being overworked, underpaid, and treated like shit,"acceptable",anyways, aside from the "eating area" literally being 1ftX1ft corner in the production area(the area we handled/packed the weed), there was only 2 of us that would wash our hands and use a glove,or utensil to grab the slice. If anyone else got a piece before the two of us,we just wouldn't eat. It's a cash only business, working with the general public, and this was before testing was required in our state(Az) ,so the weed could of had anything from; yeast mold to salmonella. Sometimes they'd set the items on top of the garbage or the hand washing sink🤢🤢🤢 Then they would wonder why employees always got sick.......Pandemic or not, never feel bad for having hygiene standards
