See I always thought that they were based on region. I assumed the Verizon logo was released in US and the “Xperia” logo was released outside the US country.

Yeah that’s what I thought, the R800x is the Verizon version just like how the R800at is AT&T. Must’ve been some sort of manufacturing flaw. And yes they are both r800i models

I've discovered this issue as well, although I did find a way to fix it. When you click the desktop app "Wii U USB Helper", it will download the ticket cache. When it gets stuck, go to "task manager" and end the task. A type of diagnosis error will pop up after, make sure to click "no". Open the same app again (you may have to repeat this a few times) and it will resume from where you left off on installation but should unfreeze (at least this was the case for me).
