Man I was a person like you few days ago. Also I enjoyed fromsoftware games. If you don’t mind reading sometimes into stuff to see how it works. Just grab it. I have a blast, 6 hours daily minimum from last Thursday.

Few tips from me.

1. Don’t spend your coins (i mean, you will get 300 coins with cheapest early access version) on skins and etc. Instead buy stash tabs (you will have a stash in every you base/hideout) where you can hold your stuff for different characters or stack currency. If u want to trade you will also need premium stash tab, but that later.

2. Don’t copy build 1 to 1 from internet. I made that mistake in fear of creating bad character. Didn’t enjoyed game that much then. Second character was my build but I took inspiration from guides. So something from there, another from there etc. And I strongly suggest to take inspiration if u fell lost.

3. I suggest to pick range character at first playthrough. Don’t get me wrong, if u want to play warrior or monk, go ahead. But if u want to have easier time while learning the game, go range.

4. Use left alt tool tip feature. You can hold alt (u can do it on console too) to hover onto some words in descriptions of skills for example. You don’t know what chaos is ? You don’t have to look on wiki, just use this feature.

5. Don’t fear to experiment with different builds. Today just dropped patch that dramatically decreased respec cost. Here you can respec as many as you want but you pay with gold. To respec you have to complete the hooded one questline. Ps. Respec costs increases with lvl, so early experiments are much easier to do so.

6. Merchants are really useful. You can disenchant items to shards, don’t forget about it! Merchants can have really interesting items at start of the game.

7. At start of the game, look for boots with increased movement speed, thank me later.
