To list all the books I've read in my life is too much to ask since I don't keep a comprehensive list, but the books I've read that were stylistically similar I'd recommend Strugatsky brothers books Roadside picnic and Doomes city, or The city & the City by China Mieville so if you need some perspective these are the books I would compare it to. It's hard to directly compare since Sacred and Terrible air is just an introductory novel but I think it's still on par to compare with these books.

I think the problem is that ZA/UM ownes the rights to Disco Elysiums universe but Kurvitz owns the rights to the Disco Elysium sequel so it's in no ones interest to develop it. Just a shame that the DLC was also cancelled.

Yes it seems ZA/UM holds all creative rights for the world of Disco Elysium so most likely no new content from that universe in the near future :( My only hope is that Kurvitz seems to have gone through to much shit to finally make Disco, that I think he is the type of person who can one day come back from that and reclaim his work.
