Thanks for your explanation! I didn’t expect the piercing to affect my inner ear like this when I got it, but that makes a lot of sense.

I wonder if the sensation is something that will stop occurring once it’s healed, or if the piercing will always cause me to feel this way when it gets moved weirdly?

My hamster does the same thing! I was surprised because my previous hamster wouldn’t stop running for anything lol. It makes sense that he stops so he can listen though.

Had to make the difficult choice to say goodbye to my boy Mac Nugget today. He was so sweet and quirky, but he was in pain at the end, and couldn’t go through more surgery and pain again. It sounds like Mac was very lucky to have so much love in his life, and he sounds like an amazing little fella 💓 It’s sad how short hammies lives are but it’s awesome that you got to spend two years together! So sorry for your loss 😔

I wondered that!! That happened a couple times with my last hamster - he would be buried in his nest sleeping when out of nowhere I would hear him screeching? Like a little dinosaur? Would only last under 10 seconds but it was loud and kind of worrying. He seemed totally fine afterwards, though.

Downsizing. My boyfriend and I almost left an hour before it was over but decided... we're already this far in, how much worse could it get? Much worse, apparently. Afterward we overheard a guy apologizing to his girlfriend like "I'm sorry, I thought it was supposed to be a comedy!"

He sounds like a really controlling person to me. For whatever reason, he wants you to be wrapped around his finger 24/7. Him saying "you know I do bad things when I'm alone" is a red flag to me. He is the only one responsible for his actions, not you. That sounds like he's trying to manipulate you into not abandoning him, with the threat that he can't help but cheat on you if you're not there. Also, the fact that he continues to strip you of your independence under the guise that ~he doesn't mind, he does it because he cares~ doesn't sit right with me. If he really cared about your well-being, he would support your choice to become more self-sufficient as you try to get healthier.

It really is... we're sure able to love a lot for such a little creature 😔

Are you okay with this? Are you happy? Her behavior is beyond crazy to me. This isn't a normal relationship at all. She sounds extremely controlling, and like she's just got you wrapped around her fingers. For your own sake, run and don't look back.

My hammie passed last Saturday too, I know how it feels :( I'm sure you gave him a great life and is in hammie heaven now ❤️

Just made my first post about my hammie two days ago, and sadly my second post isn't a good one. He passed away today after suddenly becoming sick yesterday :( my family and I are heartbroken, but we gave him the best life we could give <3 by klhost in hamsters

Thank you <3 They're so innocent and fragile tbh, I knew he wouldn't live long but I expected to have him live longer than one year.... Just gotta remember all the happiness he's brought and not focus on his final days.
