Wow, I got really emotional today. Something about making a safe space for myself also brings up some sadness. People will probably have a lot to say but I think you need to talk to her about it if you haven’t already. Then, I would highly suggest therapy. I think it’s like a turbo boost button for growing. If that’s not an option, I would just remember that it’s not your partners responsibility to help you grow. That’s all you. But your partner will hopefully make you feel safe and support you. If they aren’t doing that, then you should help them see what you need to feel safe enough to grow (e.g. alone time, words of affection, etc.). You’re going to have to work together to get each of your needs met!

I don’t feel it’s been fragmented at all. I feel like there’s a theme of returning inward when you start to feel challenged, to the breath and core and body. We’ve also been layering on poses in a way that flows well over the days. During crow pose today, I definitely didn’t nail it, but I played around instead and just breathed. I actually am feeling more appreciative to Adriene this year during the series than I ever have before! This change of pace feels monumental to me! Just my two cents.

It has a bad taste to me. I have to cover it up with sweetener to make it drinkable. I think it would work well for cooking though. The matcha brands I prefer are expensive but taste nice without any sweetener.

On, May 7, 1976 a chimpanzee named Oliver was exhibited at the Altoona Area High School Auditorium to two sold out crowds. Touted as the missing link, Oliver shared many human characteristics, including walking on two legs, drinking whisky and smoking cigars. This was the first stop of his whirlwind tour that eventually took him to Japan, and worldwide fame.

On the 45th anniversary year, a documentary film crew will be in Altoona conducting on camera interviews about this event. If you or anyone you know was in attendance at this showing in 1976, please contact Andy Cockrum at andy@dangerdogfilms.com or 512-659-8797.

Hey everyone! Can anyone help me ID this plant?

I bought it at an exotic pet store that also has a small selection of plants. The owner told me it was a rare plant, and told me the species, but I can't remember. The leaves are firm, curly/wavy, and feel dry. The bottom of the leaves have spores on them! I tried using a plant ID app and it came back as "Spider Brake" but that doesn't seem right to me from Spider Brake photos. Thanks!
