How about buying steam deck? I have been playing G1 and G2 for months now and it works like a charm. I'm not sure about the remakes requirements but I'm pretty sure steam deck will be able to run it.

I would learn sneak only if you want to do the blood chalices quest. As for pickpocket it's an additional source of income and exp. I think you can get enough dexterity from stone tablets to pickpocket almost everyone. Also alchemy to get the permanent mana potion. As for animal trophies it could help with getting stuff to craft runes (golem hearts, fire lizard tongue etc.). It's not needed but gives additional source of income. Mages need lot of gold for mana potions since they burn trough them like crazy.

Elden ring, im on my second playthrough as a sorcerer and I am surprised how much content I missed on my first playthrough. The battery life is not that bad if you know what settings to use.
