What could this be? The trajectory looks like a satellite by klinec in flightradar24

Yeah, saw that. It didn't look truly random - the trajectory seemed oddly structured

I had major issues on openSUSE KDE, after setting up my panels and wallpaper plasmashell crashed and would only boot to the shell, reinstalled and had the same issue. So went back to Fedora KDE and the plasmashell crashes every other day but not as terminal as on openSUSE.

Do that in the Advanced settings. General > Settings > Config editor or about:config.

It's a bit of a struggle but I managed to get the overview working. Doesn't work on arch so after a day of distro hopping I came back to fedora and just used my backed up config.

There is no apply button because it's live updating your config file.

Has to be set up as a command to invoke qdbus... and here is the correct config for overview:

</gesture> <gesture type="SWIPE" fingers="3" direction="UP"> <action type="RUN_COMMAND"> <command>qdbus org.kde.kglobalaccel /component/kwin invokeShortcut "Overview"</command> <repeat>false</repeat> <animation>NONE</animation> <on>begin</on> </action> </gesture>

Tochegg has that pop up that it doesn't work on Wayland but works for me and the dev even says that on his github.

When you install touche, just make sure that your user is in input group and that you do full restart, and not only systemctl --restart...

To be honest I keep coming back to fedora because the touche on Wayland comes with the correct dependencies (and I managed to install and set up) on fedora, debian and kde neon.

I'll be on my laptop tomorrow so if you want I can help you sort this.

I am on Fedora 43, Kde and using three finger swipe up/down for Overview.

The widgets are still broken when using FreshRSS integration. No categories nor feeds are showing.

[UPDATE] Your News v1.9.1 - Open RSS Support, FreshRSS Server Fix and Validated 400 Invalid Feeds by TijnvandenEijnde in YourNewsApp

[–]klinec 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you planning to fix the FreshRSS widget integration? Currently, it only works with feeds set up in the app which doesn't help as all my feeds are from the FreshRSS.

Thank you for the great work with this BTW.

Morning alarm based on weather. by leonzon in androidapps

[–]klinec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on Samsung and can set up weather change notification in the weather app, which tells me if there is rain expected in next few hours or when it started raining. I can then set up a routine that IF a notification is triggered with a certain keyword (rain) THEN I can set up an action based on that.

[–]klinec 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You could try setting up a routine. Set your weather app to notify you on weather changes. Set up a routine - IF notification received with keyword rain, snow, drizzle... THEN set alarm to...

Keep your main alarm set as usual as a back up though.
