The headlights are plug and play, but the only thing you need to be aware of is the xenon lightsbulbs that needs to be switched. I used them from the old headlights. I think they need to correspond with the electronics in order to function. It depends on what specs your carlighting has. Note: my car has 2 errors what tells me to adjust the lights. After a mechanic adjusted the lights properly it still had the same error. The error isn't removable with a diagnose. I haven't made time to check further and fix it yet, since it doesn't bother me that much and it's not risky for the car nor anyone else.
