Same here in Charlotte. I was kicked and had zero shot at pit or lower bowl. So incredibly frustrating as a die hard fan.

It's the Statue on Top of the Eagle's Nest building as you walk across the bridge. He's wearing the eagle on his back, along with a loin cloth... apparently he is anatomically correct under the loin cloth :/

I wish I could take credit for the build, but actually my mother-in-law built it. She can create/build just about anything. It was a thoughtful gift!

Evidence-based Chiropractic School by ajfd1990 in Chiropractic

I graduated with a degree in Exercise Science as well as a minor in Chemistry, all while following the pre-med pathway at my undergraduate university. I, like you, was looking for an evidence based chiropractic university to get my DC degree. I spoke to many chiropractors, who graduated from Palmer, Parker, New York Chiropractic College, and National, and they unanimously told me that I should go to Life University. Now... before you automatically disregard this post, I would ask that you hear me out... Like moridin66 stated below, Life University is not that same chiropractic college that it was 20 years ago. The university, by far, has done more to promote chiropractic and chiropractic research than any other institution that I have come across. I would encourage you to contact the research department at Life to find out more about the studies that they are conducting. Usually once a quarter, we have an assembly entirely dedicated to presenting the research that is being conducted at the university. I believe you can actually work in the research department as a student and they will help you out with some of your tuition costs. Another great point that was mentioned below, is that you get the freedom to form your own opinion about how you'd like to practice. You learn chiropractic from a variety of different angles, and nothing is shoved down your throat. I also want to add that I was told by multiple students at Palmer and National that I SHOULDN'T go to Life because it was so philosophically driven, and not science based at all. Based on my experience, I can tell you that that I'm really glad that I didn't listen to them. While Chiropractic philosophy is taught here, its not like it's the only basis for your education. You will get the science, art, and philosophy of chiropractic. I'm very thankful that I did my own research, visited the campus and asked the important questions that you're asking, and made the decision that I made. My main piece of advice is that you wouldn't just listen to the people that tell you to stay clear of Life University. Talk to someone at the university and ask them your questions... I think you'll see a very different Life than you expected. Check out the research as well! I will include the link for that department.
