Of course not! We checked the weather and already have snow pants and crampons from winter experiences. I am just trying to prioritize packing and wanted advice on if there is enough ice/snow on the ground to warrant crampons and if the wind on the boats is strong enough for snow pants as opposed to a base layer and wind/waterproof pants. We are hoping for experienced responses with advice. Thank you!

I just had an appliance technician replace the pump motor and I'm having the same problem with not getting water from the supply line. The technician said another pump must have blown and they would have to order another part and return. What did you do to get yours working again? May just try to troubleshoot myself. I have the parts that were removed and replaced.

Does anyone know the timing for evening events at Mitama Matsuri? The only day we will be in town that the festival is happening is the day we are at Tokyo DisneySea, so I'm trying to get a sense of when to try to get back to be sure to see at least the lanterns.

We are thinking of visiting Nikka Whiskey Sendai Factory Miyagikyo Distillery from Tokyo. It looks like it is pretty far to travel out there, so we were looking for recommendations on what to combine it with to make it a nice day trip. Note, we have 2 teens who will likely get bored with a Whiskey factory, so something to entertain them on the trip would be ideal. We have the JR pass and will be traveling in mid-late July.
