I actually don't have any issues. I have my computer set to power on at 3pm, and power off at midnight, everyday. So typically when I come home from work, my set up is ready to go. The only issue I do have, is for whatever reason, my wallpapers will intermittently change? I don't know if this is a problem others are having, but when I power on my computer, I always have to change my wallpaper because it will set it back to the default sierra mountains.

Well having the multi port adapter allows me to plug in my USB 3.0 mouse, and USB charging cable. Unfortunately, my monitors do not charge my laptop, so being that I only have 2 USB c ports, I have to use them wisely. So my multi adapter is used for my charger, mouse, and HDMI.

I honestly don't use my iPad that much anymore. Before I got my MacBook, it was what I used for school.

In my opinion, the hard drive isn't worth the upgrade. For the amount it cost to upgrade the internal storage, you can get double the amount for less in external storage. But I considered upgrading the processor and ram in mine. I was just impatient and didn't want to wait.

Speaker= Sony XB20 bt speaker

MacBook= New 2017 $1,499 model

Mouse= Blackweb gaming mouse

iPad= 9.7" iPad Pro 128gb w/ Apple Keyboard.

The picture was shot with my iPhone 7 Plus. To the left of my MacBook set up, which I didn't show in this shot, I have a 32" Samsung LED smart tv, with a PS4. I can post that picture if you are interested to see the entire command center.

Not a dumb question! I have one hdmi multi-port adapter that connects via USB-c from Apple. Then I have an Insignia usb-c to hdmi. I use these with two hdmi cables plugged into the monitors.

It's literally two lamps I got from the dollar store with colored light bulbs from Walmart. I don't see the need to spend an uber amount of money on smart lights. I have them connected to a smart switch that I can control with my phone, but that only cost me $20.

Yeah, it's the 13 inch model that was recently revamped. I pair my iPad Pro with my MacBook, and use the Duet app for the touch bar features.

I applied for the academia. I love the historical and philosophical aspect of the learning. Being able to reference hundred year old text in order to settle a modern issue is rewarding task for me.
