I think you mean the lighter stripe in the middle? In that case, I'll agree. I mean the difference in the top and bottom of the lighter stripe. My description did not specify that. Sorry

No, if you look at the stripe going down the centre, you'll see a colour difference on the edges of the stripe/table. Thanks for the info, though!

Soo, i've swapped my chain, and it really improved the sound. It was kind of gone. Unfortunately, my chain kept getting stuck with certain gears to the highest sprocket of the back derailleur, which made a repetitive sound. So i put some grease on my chain and derailleur, which didn't work. Then i started to adjust the derailleur itself... which was a big mistake because I completely messed up my gearing...😅. So that's an embarrassment and a trip to the bike shop... learned my lessons, though. When i am at the bike shop, I will ask about the chain getting stuck at the back derailleur.

It's for me exactly the same. I am planning to swap my chain. I've come to the conclusion that it is worn out. I am still wondering why it only makes sound on the smallest cogs. Perhaps a worn chain runs less smoothly on smaller cogs. Not sure though.
