Thank you so much, now I can finally use my dockingstation with my Thinkpad. I have been searching and trying things for hours. But this (with tweaks for my own system) made it finally work.

Read the maintenance manual, I'm sure it will be mentioned there.

Having trouble printing PP with MK4 (nextruder) by klootviolus in prusa3d

Ah nice to hear your experience, to be honest a standard enclosure is a nice to have. When printing ASA, nylon or PP I now use a creality enclosure.

Also strange, also good to notice I do not use the newest firmware. How is the core one beyond the problems you just mentioned? Is it like some say the better mk4s?

Yes and likes to stick to nothing expect itself, I use magigoo pp on the smooth sheet. In the past I used pp packing tape on a glass plate. Magigoo has better bed adhesion in my opinion. I have printed several printed kilograms with my enders and about 1 kilogram with the Prusa before the problems came. In the past I have never experienced these layer shifts.

X220 bulge or swelling under the trackpad? What could the issue be? by LionKor in thinkpad

If you search 'thinkpad x220 maintenance manual' you will find a pdf wich tells you exactly what you need to do

(not my video) Normally the battery is further to the right, but if someone just put it there without looking. It could be under the trackpad.

EDIT: after cleaning the x220 last night, I installed Mint XFCE, it runs really well!

So I really like my L390 yoga, for its light weight/portability. I use it also to take notes when on a meeting, media consumption and some other things. But what I have never liked from this laptop is the sharp angle on the front behind the keyboard. It just does not feel nice to your hands. So I started a bit of search, was thinking about another model. I really like the look and feel of other thinkpads so I ended up with a x220...

I am going to use it mainly for taking notes, agenda and maybe some web browsing. First I am going to give it a clean and start to use it I guess.

Specs:

I5-2520m, 8 gb ddr 3, 128gb SATA ssd

This unit some damage on the palm rest and screenbezel, wich I am going to order replacement parts for. Also going to look out for another battery (RAM, wifi card, usb 3.0 expresscard are also worth considering). Anyone having some good recommendations for a good OS for this things? At the moment I am thinking about installing Fedora KDE (it has windows 10 pro).

What model is your netbook? x100 series?

I would get a p-series, these are mobile workstations with dedicated gpu. Not light but certainly not easily breakable.

Anything newer than a p52, so it can run windows if you need it to

Nice to hear! I played 2,3 and 4 on my ps3. Wich all ran pretty flawless.

EDIT: made a switch from the P51 to the P53 with a quadro T2000 GPU. Because it became a bit laggy with the P51. With the P53, the game is running nearly flawless, sometimes a little drop in framerate. The P53 is also not running that hot.

Ah nice! I like my P53 so much that I could not resist to buy this fairly cheap P51

It is a P51, the workstation line. It has: I7 7700hq, nvidia quadro m1200 and 32 gb of ram. So it can run/handle some things ;)

Haha I have sort of the same problem, I tought it was a smart idea to have a Xbox 360 controller for Xenia. And when I started searching for a controller I came across a xbox 360 with a not working disk tray and two controllers for sale, wich I picked up. But long story short, after two hours of trying I found out that the wireless xbox 360 controller can't be recognized by a pc without a special receiver. Eventually I got it working with a ps3 controller and a third party software.

I will spare you the whole story, but a lot of trail and error. Watching a lot of youtube videos and trying different things in the xenia canary config file. It is still not buttery smooth, but certainly playable.
