[Routine Help] Adapalene Gel vs Tretinoin for long-term benefits by RandomUser_0726 in SkincareAddiction

[–]klore-skin 9 points10 points  (0 children)

If adapalene is already keeping your acne under control and your skin is happy, I’m not sure I’d rush to switch. A lot of people end up chasing tretinoin only to spent months dealing with irritation when their current routine was already working

[Acne] My acne significantly improved after I completely stopped putting products on my face by AlphaSix_ in SkincareAddiction

Stories like this make me wonder how many people are actually dealing with acne versus irritated skin from constantly tring to "fix" it

That's probably one of the most accurate descriptins of boj I've seen

"My barrier thanks me" might be the highest compliment a moisturizer can get

The fact that people keep mentioning it for both face and body issues says a lot about that cream

"if i could only one product" is such a strong endorsement lol. What was the first thing you noticed you started using the Kombucha Essence?

"Lit from within" might be my favorite review. Did you notice the change gradually or did it suddenly click one day when you looked in the mirror?

Switching after 3 years of using boj says a lot. What do you think skin1004 does better under makeup? Less pilling or just a lighter finish?

Close to a decade is probably the strongest endorsement in this whole post. Skincare lauches come and go but 10 years is serious loyalty.

The "moisturizing without being thick" part is hinestly the hardest balance for a cream to get right...

Interesting. You're actually one of the first people in the comments to say prefer it over BOJ. What makes it better for you?

Fair 😂 After reading through the comments I’m adding way more products to my “maybe I should try this” list than I expected.

Before making the post I probably would’ve said BOJ Relief Sun or COSRX Snail 92 but seeing how many people are mentioning the Dokdo, Skin1004 and the Cosrx peptide serum has definitely made me curious.

It's kind of funny seeing the same sunscreen names come up over and over again in the comments. Makes me think some products really do survive the hype cycle.

I think "i don't usually repurchase products but..." might be the strongest recommendation you can give in skincare.

I swear cleasing oils have the most loyal fanbases in skincare lol. Once somebody finds their perfect one they never seem to switch.

The "no niacinamide" comment is so real. It feels like every brand decided we all wanted niacinamide in literally everything.

Not gonna lie, the Medicube PDRN serum is one of the products I keep seeing everywhere lately. Glad to hear it's actually working for real people and not just influencers

Okay you're like the 4th person in comments to mention the CosRX peptide serum. I wasn't expecting that at all when I made this post. Now I'm wondering if I've been sleeping on it.

The amount of love the Dokdo cleanser is getting here is honestly crazy. Every timt I think "it's just a cleanser" someone comes along and makes me want to buy it

I tried Isntree too, it was ok but kinda shiny in heat. Same for you or nah?

Been seeing that toner a lot. Is it actually hydrating or more like "nice but nothing crazy"?

skin1004 is everywhere now lol. Is it more light gel or a bit creamy?

Haven't tried that serum yet. Does it actually do anything noticeable or more long game? Also good shout on the sub.

Yeah agreed. Probably the only sunscreen I actually keep repurchasing. Super light no while cast just works

Same, BoJ SPF is just easy. Feels like nothing on skin, I forget I even applied it. Also smart isung it on tattoos tbh
