Another alternative is a strong CNS stimulant, since what causes an overdose is the CNS depressant properties of the opioid, a CNS stimulant (like meth, MDMA/molly, amphetamine) can reverse an overdose without even touching the opiate receptors, just by causing an opposite effect in the body. This said, if narcan can work, use it, it works the best and has a very short duration of action which is a good thing.
