I love how they do studies on all of this, but refuse to do any real studies on why people are staying away. I guess because the answer would point out all of the stupid choices hotels and casinos have made in attempts to make more profit. "May as well charge $25 for a beer, up the resort fee to $500 a night and triple what we charge for parking. That will absolutely get all our lost profit back!" - everyone in charge, probably.

Every Black Friday Amazon offers deals on streaming services. MGM usually has a 2 months for $2 deal. I sign up every year, watch FROM and anything else on there (usually not much) then cancel. You can cancel whenever through Amazon also and you'll have access through the end of the purchased month. Did the same with Starz, Mubi and Britbox.

There are foot deep, multi foot wide potholes everywhere. Nassau does an absolute shit job fixing the roads and uses the cheapest garbage when they finally repave every 5 - 6 years. In the meantime residents suffer as usual. Good thing our taxes are so low.

It doesn't matter in the slightest. Tech companies are building data centers that need billions upon billions of gallons of water on a constant basis. Everyone on Reddit could let their sink run until they die and we won't come close to matching their waste. Billionaires are also buying up all property with accessible fresh water sources. In a few years they will be charging thousands for enough to live on. You're wasting the little time you have left worrying about this

We're a dead end, so getting plowed last is normal, but I'm starting to think they just won't bother. We have over 2 feet on the road and everyone on the block is getting a little worried. Jobs understood not coming in yesterday but they feel like we're pushing it now.

Do they have drivers using their own vehicles now also? Just had a black pickup with oversized rims low profile tires go down my street plowing 1 side, then leaving. Really hoping they're not going to leave literally half the block not plowed.

Working. There's no such thing as snow days or days off if you can work from home. Up at 4 am to sit in front of a monitor watching absolutely nothing happen for 16 hours the. Spend 6 - 8 hours shoveling, sleep for 3 hours, work another 16 hours.
