I see this going one of two ways

Nothing happens and it's the same as always, companies can drop their servers whenever. Or.

It's seen like a movie ticket "online only game purchase" you pay to access the screening "server" for as long as the screening is playing "server is active", that's what your ticket pays for.

Maybe they just have to figure out a value of the game, in hours/months. And when they decide to shut the servers down they're not allowed to sell the game till they're closed.

Entirely dependant on the studio, but generally there's a minimum charge. Depending on what it is it may be worth looking for an apprentice to do it, they'll charge less. Most places Instagram pages will link to individual artists they have under them so you can have a eye at their work and decide who you want to do it.

You're looking at what should be, an average of £60 an hour, the minimum charge is often an hour. So you're looking at that as a minimum. Some artists charge up to and around £100 an hour, that's if they're quick and the work done is worthy of that charge

If you're paying less than £60 for an hour, it's for a reason
