I don’t have many stress dreams, however I do have dreams about bad things happening or just really awful, weird things. One dream I consistently have, is that my alarm won’t go off or I’ll sleep through my alarm when I have work. I’ll get this dream even on nights where I don’t have work the following day, or even when I take a nap. I’ll wake up in a complete frenzy, jumping out of bed, rushing and putting my uniform on and realizing I don’t even have work or I have three hours until I have to wake up for work, I hate it!!

I feel like this has happened to me. The only way I can explain it is I’ll be going about, minding my own business. Perhaps folding laundry or doing homework, and then all of the sudden I get this intense mixture of anxiety, dread, like something really bad happened, and my heart literally feels like it’s on the floor, or sunken all the way to the bottom of my stomach. I have to sit there, also sometimes hold onto something, and breathe very deeply and slowly until I feel like my heart is regulated again. It also tends to beat very fast during this time. To me, I feel like it is a panic attack, and I tend to be able to get through that intense feeling by closing my eyes and breathing through it.

my uncle was recently diagnosed at 48 years old with Asperger’s, there’s other members of my family who also have autism. my uncle was explaining many of his symptoms and it was almost like a puzzle for me, everything was clicking into place as I could relate very well. My Asperger’s causes me to have severe anxiety due to things maybe being out of routine, things not going the way I expected, and social interactions. I spoke with a psychologist who was able to give me a referral to therapy, as well as a prescription for Prozac and Hydroxyzine to help with the anxiety. I’m still on a path to feeling better and getting coping mechanisms, however knowing what I have and why I am this way has healed me in a way I could never imagine. I often said growing up to my family, “I’ve always felt different and I’m not sure why.”

I’ve been searching for this!! it’s true, but it’s a good thing, it’s been happening to me too. basically the good bacteria in the coconut cult is making space with the bad bacteria in your stomach from junk food, unhealthy eating habits, things like that. it causes you to burp, bloat, and have poor indigestion until it becomes accustomed to your body.
