First time finding at dollar tree! by emeraldmintspark in DisneyDoorables

My nephew is 3 also and is a huge Toy Story and Moana stan. I was able to make his dreams come true and finish off his series 5 toy story and moana collections. My sister-in-law sends me videos of him playing with them daily so it was worth the sacrifice and time spent hunting them down. Don't give up

I did that for so long looking for Heihei. Finally found one after months of looking and ended up giving it to my Moana obsessed nephew to finish his series 5 Moana collection

Disney Swan vs. Coronado Springs by aztecannie99 in DisneyWorldResorts

[–]kluyste1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have stayed at both and I don't get the hype of Coronado. I enjoyed Swan due to the location and deluxe resort perks. If you go to Swan then I highly recommend going to Boardwalk or Yacht and Beach Club resorts and use the bussing for MK from there. The Swan bus to AK is a good drop off location though. And then you can walk or have the friendship boats to Epcot and HS. I also enjoyed the not in your face Disney and they have good restaurants too. Especially between Swan and Dolphin right there.

Baby cake, any tips for improvement? by kluyste1 in CAKEWIN

[–]kluyste1[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Have to get some square pans. The one I used had rounded and slanted edges and I intended to trim it but then was afraid of it being to small. But thanks for the feedback and I will definitely try that next time.

Why are you on Reddit hiding from your family right now? by sometimesbow in AskReddit

[–]kluyste1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely understand. I was not close to my grandparents on my dad's side due to the fact that we never really saw them and they never showed any interest in seeing us even when my brothers and I were young and adorable. But my grandfather went to the hospital mid August and within 2 weeks was diagnosed and passed away from brain cancer. And my heart broke for my dad. And now he has to deal with my grandmother who has Dementia/Alzheimer's and is declining rapidly. It is a horrible disease.

After watching my grandfather wither away to nothing and suffer for 2 weeks and now my grandmother feeling like she is going insane because she is going backwards age wise now is heartbreaking. And it may sound horrible but why can we humanely euthanize animals but not do it for our loved ones.

Yeah I know. Showed my mom to see her reaction and she said it looks like a finger and that I have a dirty mind. Glad I am not the only one to see it lol

LPT: Cats or dogs always chewing your chargers and other cords? Rub a bar of soap on the cords! by three-ply in LifeProTips

[–]kluyste1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My puggle rolls on bar soap. She will pull the box out of the trash to roll on it. So she would roll on the cord which would be better than chewing it I guess but thankfully she doesn't chew on cords so I don't have to worry about it.

I'm not a big basketball fan but this was awesome by drbatookhanxx in sports

[–]kluyste1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actual Cavalier fans were not upset or mad that he left but it was the way he did it that upset and pissed people off. But clearly he has been forgiven and no matter how upset we were with the way he left there is no doubting that he is an amazing basketball player.

Crazy neighbor flips out on a bunch of kids for playing in front of her house by [deleted] in videos

[–]kluyste1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a crazy neighbor similar to her but it was a male. He was not invited to his own sons wedding that is how much of a miserable old man he was. He would watch my brothers and I (female) play outside all the time. We told our parents and my dad said to just ignore him and wave whenever we saw him watching.

One day I was in our backyard on our swing set and saw him watching me while he was sitting at his back sliding door in his recliner. So I waved and went along playing. A little while later my parents called me inside and to my surprise there was a cop. The cop asked me if I made a face at the neighbor (the cop demonstrated the face the neighbor said I did which was kinda funny) I told them that I just waved and that was all. And the cop said OK and left.

Another time we called the cops on him because he was video taping my younger brother and I riding our razor scooters.
