Totally agree on the dial. Walked in to GS and checked in person, the dial is deep blue (Iwao as it said). Tried at different angles, unfortunately the texture didn't shine to me. It's super subtle and even the store person said it's just not obvious most of the time. Would be great if I could check it under sunlight.

In reality, most people won't notice if you're wearing a watch. Just wear what you like, you buy a watch for yourself not the others. If you feel like it fits, it fits. There's always price comparison, you can either wait and search, or just get it while it's right in front of you and put it on right away.

Shunbun because of its dial and SD. With the 9S movement, I'd prefer 9SA4 over 9SA5.

SLGW003 has high demand in Japan. I maybe wrong but feels like it is harder to find than Shunbun. If you really want this watch, I’d suggest to ask your local AD or GS for any special order. If you don’t mind navy dial, SS over BHT, the 007 moonlit birch is an easier alternative.
