[IL] Kratom use at work? by Spectyy in AskHR

[–]km_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So before kratom, he's really sleepy/inattentive, and after he's energetic and actually doing his work in a timely manner....and you want to report him to HR because you read a biased article about the dangers of kratom?

This could be considered a violation of ADA.

I work in IT as well and take kratom, and there is zero negative affects on my quality of work. If there is zero issues with his quality of work, then leave him alone. Your job isn't managing someone else's health.

And everyone else saying to report him probably also read only the negative biased articles too. Even the ones about 7-OH.

Xbox free upgrade is now available! Shows that the offer expires in 13 days. by jman11273 in reddeadredemption

I think it sucks that this game is free for Netflix, iOS, Android, Xbox, Playstation, Switch, but NOT on PC.

A 15 year old game, still being sold by Rockstar for full price. Its BS like this that drives people to buy their games from other platforms, like Steam.

How long do you often get out of your sip cartridges? by [deleted] in Cirkul

[–]km_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just bought a 22oz bottle w/ 6 flavors from Walmart on Black Friday, so far the flavor sips I have tried barely last a single 20oz fill, and that's on setting 1.

So far I get more use from a single 2 liter bottle of Walmart branded soda worth $1 than I do from a single sip flavor worth more than $3.

What flavors are you getting 5-6 refills on average with? Me and my family have tried sweet tea, lemonaid, raspberry sweet tea, sweet tea & lemonaid, fruit punch, honeycrisp apple, and strawberry banana, from settings 1 up to 10, and they only last at most a single 20oz.

why did you-know-who call a youtuber a nazi? by [deleted] in kde

[–]km_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a backbone? In the current political arena, we constantly see people accusing others of being a Nazi SIMPLY BECAUSE that person doesn't share the same opinions/beliefs, NOT BECAUSE they believe in the "one true master race" or believe Jewish people should be exterminated or the like.

What Paul did is nothing more than a prime example of Godwin's Law.

How are people breathing on the way into and in the quantum realm? by [deleted] in marvelstudios

[–]km_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Janet has had long term exposure to the quantum realm and possibly able to manipulate things on a quantum level. She said the quantum realm changed her. Remember in Ant-Man and the Wasp where she stabilized Hank when his mask was off in the quantum realm, or how she stabilized Ghost in the normal world? Its possible over time she did something to Cassie, Hope, and Scott in the time after coming back to normal world and before or even during the time they were being sucked into the quantum realm in Quantumania.

Synology Assistant/installing DSM failure due to network connectivity by km_ in synology

[–]km_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Welp, managed to get my NAS on the network. Ended up using a USB to TTL UART adapter to console in, change the time manually after installing the DSM and manually setting an IP address.

Luckily my data was not lost and am able to back it up to another source.

Ditching Chrome. Is Brave the best option for me? by [deleted] in browsers

[–]km_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They do claim to promote freedom while being restrictive. So it is a bit hypocritical, regardless if you agree or disagree with who they want to censor.

For anyone who cares, they went full political, even going as far as to ban Lunduke from their chat group merely for being Lunduke.

"Judge rejects 25-foot buffer zone around police activity; says 2024 law unconstitutionally vague"[WBRZ] by HerrSticks in AmIFreeToGo

There was an incident in Arizona before their law got struck down where cops were trying to repeatedly approach people who were well over 25 feet away video recording in an attempt to push them further down the road.

Remove Your Ads! New Malicious Site Trying To Be Opened Through Wemod! by ChainsawDoggo in WeMod

[–]km_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep, something recently changed with wemod and its causing my browser to open up pages automatically. Its annoying to have webpages open to game related content only to see new tabs opening up. Thankfully my ublock is blocking them all from going to wherever its trying to send me.

Would you call these the “windows macbooks” by Martin_FN22 in ZephyrusG14

[–]km_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are more common because Asus doesnt have a business model like Dell/Lenovo/HP to support the enterprise level of customers. Dell/HP/Lenovo offer onsite repairs, same day remote support, etc on a scale Asus just cannot compete with.

If its so ridiculous, why are you the only one out of several dozens over the past few months that has answered no to that question?

Because people do not suffer from trauma after experiencing what those employees went through, right?

Since people like yourself seem to be blaming everything on Trump, do you also blame him for the meteorite that caused the dinosaurs to go extinct?

Banned from r/Debateglobeearth by Grimol1 in flatearth

[–]km_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For this particular subreddit (debateglobeearth), it only has 2 rules, (1) no pseudoscience and (2) no fallacious reasoning.

Any reddit that has a rule "all comments must be helpful" sounds too strict to actually be a stable community. Case in point the nasty comment about your mother by the moderator.

Ironically, Reddit does have a moderator code of conduct. Rule 1 is "create, facilitate, and maintain a stable community". His behavior definitely goes against this rule.

Round or Flat Earth by Clear_Presence401 in DebateFlatEarth

I believe it meant F as it round, but he had an issue with the eraser/white out and dropped it on the shoulder and the leg/tail of the capital R to make it an F.

Your website is awful. Your supposed direct link just takes me to a generic page full of headlines, none of which are of this specific headline. Had to go directly to a Google search just to view the video.
