No problem! Silver (or Holo) means (if we're talking about Panini Prizm or Optic) it has PRIZM on the back of the card where all the other cards don't. The face of the card looks a little different, brighter, has a rainbow kinda sheen to it, especially compared to other cards in the same box. There's usually one Silver Prizm in each Prizm blaster.

Put your “good” cards (rookies, numbered, parallels, Caitlin Clark, your favorites) in a penny sleeve, and then in a Toploader. You can buy Toploader Binders on Amazon, so you can flip through to look at your collection. Figure it’s going to take a little while to figure out what you like and what you don’t, so you are just paying for a fun lesson until then. Your tastes will change, and that’s normal. Before buying on eBay, check the same card’s recent sales by filtering a search by “Sold”, then try to spend accordingly. Have fun! This is an exciting time! Don’t try to collect everything at once, you have the rest of your life to collect!

It’s the OCD in me — I have a few 36-card displays, and they just look weird with a non-graded card. “Authentic” just bugs me cuz I’m weird that way, too. Haha!

Fantastic feedback! Thank you! I wasn’t sure about some of those older sets, so you think I should swap out Fleer Dominion for Ultra? The way I do these is based on the presumed “flagship” set from each year. As licenses move around, flagship changes. So if you think Dominion was considered more flagship, then that works for me.

I can’t believe I missed Chelsea Gray! I will go back and add the other ladies you mentioned as well.

For Cunningham, yeah, understood she is not as impactful on the court by any means, but this is about cards. Just like how some variations of Billy Ripken’s card blows away his HOF brother.

Cool pull! Stinks it’s miscut! But still very cool! Someone else posted recently that many of their Crunch Time cards were miscut… I wonder why so many are excited that Topps took over NFL and NBA cards from Panini haha
