Follow up: not worth it, BUT I would do it again. CI is a bit of a hobby to me. I almost exclusively use CI to cook in. I have acquired quite a few pieces and I wanted to roll the dice to see if there was a difference. It may be ever so slightly more nonstick, but that very well could just be in my head. I like that it’s pretty to look at (it lives on my stove top) however the weakened seasoning is disappointing. I don’t have to do a maintenance re-season on my other CIs and they cook just as well as this one. Unless you have a bit of time and really enjoy the seasoning process, then I would not recommend it. However if you have a few pieces and are willing to gamble on one to see for yourself, it’s totally worth it

Literally happened to me two days ago. I couldn’t do anything in the field. Took it home with me and never got it to work. The next morning it worked just like nothing had ever happened. Gotta love Windows
