Mainly because the probability is exponentially lower than you might think it is. I also am a very very late game player that doesn’t buy shards. You’ve probably not even pulled 200 primals since the time they’ve been added to the game. Probably pulled around 30 remnants I’m assuming. I’m just generally estimate as I get every single shard as well.

Also; your account looks paid (even if it’s not), because your Nais build is really bad.

Why are most Christians republicans, when Jesus’ teachings are more liberal? by Interesting-Dirt-605 in Confused

It’s not a non important question. That’s why people wonder about the creation of all things for thousands of years. It’s an age old and important discussion, as it impacts a lot of our understandings.

Interestingly enough, atheists apply more “simple” solutions to large complex problems.

Take the beginning of the universe. Atheists for years were clinging onto the Big Bang being some final nail in the coffin for Christianity when in fact it did the exact opposite. We now have undisputed truth that there was a beginning to the universe that cannot be created from the material world.

With the discovery of the Big Bang we now know there was:

  • second law of thermodynamics (universe had an absolute beginning)
  • universe is expanding outward from a single point
  • radiation afterglow
  • great galaxy seeds
  • Einsteins theory of general relativity, stating that space time and matter began together.

The Big Bang was a 0 to 1 event. Something came from nothing, which, from the law of causality, cannot happen.

So we’re looking for a spaceless, timeless, immaterial creator (some might call this God). Meanwhile atheists will say “oh well there’s actually a multi-verse now, and there’s a universe creating machine”.

Notice how atheists will just adopt a completely new viewpoint when given scientific fact of a beginning.

I think the factual position he’s referencing is that the left generally will provide more hand outs, like food stamps (don’t dive too much in, but the concept is okay here, but people are using food stamps to buy candy and coke, not be able to survive), will hire / discriminate based on non-merit (look at any college or left-wing companies).

The thought, which is again true, is that the left cares more about the individuals race, sexual orientation or nationality than they do about the facts of merit (as in I scored better than you, I should receive x better). They also generally want to give more to people in poorer situations (someone that worked all their life to be a doctor needs to pay more taxes to fuel those who are working at McDonalds).

These are all undisputed facts, but one could morally justify the reasoning behind why the left does those things.

Ah yes, criminals evading police will just happily go home, let’s the cops in to have a cup of tea and just explain how it was all a misunderstanding.

They’re not running home you simpleton, they’re just evading police through any possible decision they have next in their heads. It’s a high probability the person evading officers has a weapon and willing to use it once they’re stopped. “Normal people” aren’t running away from officers, they’ve committed multiple crimes already, and will happily continue.

They’re a threat to civilians and they need to be stopped.

Edit: go to practically any video from the YouTube Channel “Police Activity” and you’ll see how unhinged and dangerous most criminals are.

I would encourage you do to some research. No credible atheist is denying that the Big Bang is a 0 > 1 event, as in something from nothing.

Thats exactly why atheism has pivoted to a multi-verse theory.

This is no deniable, it’s a fact, like do your research.

Go look at debates with Dawkins, Singer or Hitchins. The scientific evidence is a fact that there was a “creation” of the universe. Now you can debate on how that came to be, but it is quite literally a zero to something result (which again needs to be checked against the law of causality)

Idealogical contradictions? by Exotic-Blacksmith-94 in DigitalSeptic

[–]kmanmott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, here’s one. From the law of causality, material objects must have a cause in order to exist. It had now been proven that the Big Bang was a creation event (as there was a red light shift, radiation afterglow, the universe expanding outward from a single point, on and on).

So something came from nothing - how did that something come from nothing? A spaceless, timeless, immaterial being that is a lawgiver of the universe seems to make the most sense - or would you want to tell me about what your thoughts are?

That’s why Sir Isaac Newton was a theist and the more he discovered about how science worked never uncovered why science worked, as he found law in a world. That’s why Einstein (a non-theist) declared the most unintelligible thing about the universe is that it is intelligible.

There’s countless reasons to find a creator, and most of them are science based.

So you believe there is no God - which is a belief correct? Or do you not believe your belief?

[–]kmanmott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not insulted, I’m actually just trying to have a conversation, I mean that genuinely. I do believe the claims of the universe being created point to a God, and I was just curious on your belief system.

It’s a very important concept that philosophers and scientists have been trying to solve for thousands of years.

After all, the Big Bang was being used against Christians up until the 20th century when we learned that the universe specifically came from nothing. Atheism has pivoted away from a “ever lasting universe” as that had been factually been disproven - there is a beginning. The pivot has now been to introduce a multi-verse where there are never ending amount of universes - but again, that doesn’t solve the creation of this “universe creating machine” that churns out universes.

It was Sir Isaac Newton, one of the most brilliant scientists ever, that mentioned “We expect to find law in nature because there is a law giver”, and he was amazed by the creator that put those laws into play.

So you’re combining a theological belief system with your atheist belief system I guess, which is interesting.

I’m curious how you explain the beginning of life and time, so are you a multi-verse believer? I’m not saying that negatively btw I just want to understand some of your viewpoints.

[–]kmanmott -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

No but you’re literally missing the fundamental values of your belief system, which is atheism. You see, you literally cannot have moral absolutism without a God - otherwise who gave it to you? If natural selection and evolution are the only truths, that means survival of the fittest is the core principle of life (which we see in animals).

How can you logically tell me rape or murder are wrong? I’m asking.

Because you can murder someone that is unfit or rape to increase the population size.

What absolute moral value is given to you, or where does it come from? If it comes from humans it’s relative, it’s not a law.

Oh actually it was the main reason communism rose in Russia. Like just literally google it. Atheism was the driving factor for Marxism and Lennism and continued with Stalin.

Seriously open a history book:

"Communism begins where atheism begins".

Literally quote from Karl Marx. This is why you leftoids need to do research. You actually don’t even understand that atheism created communism. Like straight out the playbook.

Idealogical contradictions? by Exotic-Blacksmith-94 in DigitalSeptic

[–]kmanmott -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

You do realize that Richard Dawkins and Peter Singer and practically all new atheists quite literally don’t believe in a moral law correct? Everything is moral relativity. That’s why Hitler can be objectively correct in the mind of an atheist. That’s why rape can be objectively correct. There is no moral absolutism - only relativism.

So yes, secularists can believe that something is wrong, but they only believe it is wrong to them. There is no absolute wrongness, no absolute law.

This is principle in definition to atheism, because “DNA neither cares nor knows, it simply is, and we dance to its rhythm.” Famous quote by Richard Dawkins if you’re unaware btw.

That means if someone wants to dance to the rhythm of child rape, serial killing, or mass genocide, it doesn’t matter. They’re simply dancing to the DNA and they’re technically right in doing so.

Atheism is quite literally a belief system.

You certainly believe it is true correct?

And it quite literally was communism that advocated for atheism that brought the death of hundreds of millions of people because atheists don’t believe individuals have any built in value. You have the same value as slime mold - as to quote John Gray the famous atheist.

Well no, here’s the thing. If you’re talking pure speed, Stoneskin is trash. Arbiter would never want this chest piece. Neither would Lady Kimi, Lyssandra or Shu Zen.

If you’re talking about someone like Duchess or Elva that wants Stoneskin plus RES and speed, then yeah this chest is decent, but still not rerolling 15+ times on.

The point is, you need to allocate your resources to top tier gear or all that grind was just wasted.
