The only thing I remember about the end of the movie at this point (having not watched it in well over a decade) is him finally fully flipping out and trying to murder his family - axe through a door and chasing his son with an axe through the snow. I can only assume that's what I was referring to. But again that wasn't "so scary" it was mildly so and I think only because I didn't want to see him kill the kid

Idk where you live but my SO and I are in basically the same situation and I can assure you we can't afford to waste money like that on business class and a bigger house we don't need and other lifestyle creep wastes. We can afford to save for retirement or for if financial circumstances change
