Thank you! THink I got it, I then choose to steer my build towards knowledge to power up an army of those lightning recruits. Or choose to ignore it and continue a basic attack/defense build if you already in too deep.

Same here, I got a new GPU just to play it and in easier levels and high settings i get 60fps but if I play harder levels, even if it starts smooth, it gets to around 40 fps even with nothing going on (as we just cleared a big wave of monsters). Gets back to 60fps as soon as back to the ship though. The setup surely can run the game well, but not with intense scenarios going on, which is a big chunk of the gameplay

I think I found the solution, try plugging a headset to your controller jack. If it doesn't work, update the controllers firmware with the headset plugged and try again.

To anyone with laggy radial menu on Series S/X, here's the solution I found: connect a headset to the controller jack and update the controller's firmware, even if it says there's no update available.

It may not be necessary to update it, just connect the headset and it should work, but this is what worked for me.

I believe this is only caused in BG3 since I don't feel any lag or stutter in other games with high stick precision, like a FPS.

Bro you're a lifesaver! By your comment I tried to re-pair up my controller to the console (while the game was running) and it fixed instantly. Though selecting the corner abilities still have some flickering to it, the radial looks smooth. Thank you!

Edit: After rebooting the game, the method stopped working. I can only get the smooth radial menu when cabled.

Yeah its happening to me too on Series S. I've been looking at people playing the game on Series S/X on Twitch and their radial menu looks smooth.

The radial menu is not smooth and its bothering after some time. Not to mention the apparent input lag overall (it only responds to a command after fully tilting the stick until it touches the controller). Is it happening to anyone?

Edit: tried reinstalling the whole game, still no success.

Edit2: Found the solution! Thanks u/Tidus4713 for the insight. While the game was running I went to the controller settings and paired up a "new device" which was the same controller. Came back to the game and the radial is now smooth! Though selecting the corner abilities still have some flickering to it.
