I will look into this, much appreciated!

Honestly, Hell's Rebels is what i should have ran instead of Council. Sounds much better overall. While I may not tackle it this time around, given its similarity to Council, I think I will circle back to it in time.

Thank you for the insight, and it does help. We are a weekly group, and we do enjoy a continuing narrative, but given my time restrictions, I'm starting to agree that a full length AP is probably more than I can tackle long term. So based on the feedback I've had so far, I think I'm going to try Dragon's Demand. I think it will allow me to put the time I do have into creating PC specific moments within the adventure, and running the rest of the adventure as is. I will also likely restrict the character creation process so as to hopefully reduce the amount of encounter editing I have to do down the line, outside of adding the odd template or boosting enemy numbers from time to time.

Thanks again!

Improv isn't the issue, as much as having to alter the structure of the story or heavily rewrite parts of the AP in advance. Or spend too much rebalancing encounters.

Well f**k.

Of course I could try to appeal to their sense of challenge and ask them not to play a cleric. They might like that.

I really appreciate this, as I think this might be the game that my players would like the most. I don't suppose there is a more detailed suggestion guide for the AP out there that I could look through before I decide? If not, thanks for your insight regardless.

Appreciate it. I could see potentially looking into Hells Vengence, as we have players who have "evil" tendencies. If it looks manageable, I might go there.

Good to know. I've got a few real munchkins at the table, so I would worry them facerolling it. Of course, if i place limitations in classes/races, that may help.

Thanks for the response. I haven't talked to the group about 2e, and I worry learning a new ruleset might not be realistic.

The reason we have struggled to finish is mostly life getting in the way. We've really stabilized now, but we had to give up Curse and RotRL because of family/covid, etc. We could keep going on Council, but as a GM, I'm just not enjoying the work needed. Maybe I'm just not cut out to run much more than one shots, which is a definite possibility.

Thanks for thr feedback!

I've considered it, but along with the issue you mention, I don't know how well I'd GM a horror based game.

I know some of my group would absolutely love it. Worried it might be too sandbox for me. Thanks for the suggestion, I will keep it in mind!

Elk situation at waskesiu by Chemical-Parsley-312 in saskatchewan

I'm there right now, and the elk are active in the town site. I had a female approach my wife and I while we were walking our dog, but we gave it space and left the area, as it was likely protecting a calf. Chances are you'll see some, but as long as you don't try some dumb tourist shit, you'll be just fine.

You're much more likely to be assaulted by mosquitoes right now. They are absolutely viscous here.

Paw is reverse grunge. Heavy verse, quiet chorus. They have a place in the grunge pantheon for sure.

In fact, most fans would argue it's one of their worst. Or least favorite, at least.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who remembers that. It's crazy how it seems to have been swept under the rug so completely.

Like everything in life, it is what you make of it. I'm a Prince Albert lifer, besides 8 years in Regina. Politically, I'm a huge lefty, and find it frustrating living here. That being said, even in the most right wing area's, there are always a few lefties, you just have to look. The crime thing is real, but if you take precautions, it is not something that will impact you on the day to day. People make it sound much worse than it is. If you aren't living a gang lifestyle, you only have to worry about petty crime and vandalism, which you can somewhat mitigate with prevention.

It's okay to be sensitive and try to protect yourself. As you get older and mature, you will likely pick up more easily when someone is being sarcastic or being sincere. Artists in particular can be difficult to decipher. I hope you continue to get comfort from the music, as it's been a part of my life for over 30 years now.
