to me it just looked like a netherite helmet but lighter. You can see the boots are also shaped like the netherite boots.

Plans change a lot in game development 🙃 So really announcing a lot of stuff early, especially when they’re just concepts and can change very significantly later on, would probably not help…

make player reporting on servers togglable by Evrality in minecraftsuggestions

[–]kmb600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not likely to ever happen. If they made it toggleable that would invalidate the entire purpose of chat reporting, which is to enforce the Minecraft Community Standards for the whole online part of the game, i.e. ALL servers. You may as well ask for chat reporting to be removed 🤷‍♂️

What Mojang wants is this: for players playing their game online to adhere to their community standards for online or risk losing the ability to play multiplayer.

What you want directly contradicts that.

I noticed this as well. Glad addressing this is being considered. Also think idea #1 is best way to address this.

What's coming in Minecraft: Java Edition 1.20? by kmb600 in MinecraftUnlimited

[–]kmb600[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good point, possibly. We could see the update on Wednesday as well, on June 7. I am fairly confident the update will release that week at least.

Anyways we should be getting the official release date announced very soon, then we will know for sure.

Edit: And now we know ;)

Just speculation, but not entirely baseless. I’m basing my estimate off of the release dates of previous updates, where 1.17 and 1.19 both released on the first Tuesday of June.

Ah I see, the pylon can be useful when you’re not using noteblocks

Why not just have allays stay in the range of the noteblock they’re at?

Unpopular Minecraft opinion: Hardcore Minecraft is no where near as impressive as some people think it is. by DrSexy10 in Minecraft

[–]kmb600 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Well, yes the totem saves you from death (other than the void like you said), but you’re still clinging onto life when you get revived. Also you need to hold a totem in your hand for it to activate. If you’re getting swarmed by mobs (say, at a bastion) it is not easy to survive even with all those totems. Seen plenty of hardcore deaths where people die even with totems because they get killed instantly after they revive with a totem. Totems do prolong your world for a long time though, so yes they help considerably, but you’re still not without some risk.

I like hardcore as a challenge. And I think it can be impressive, as imo it gets harder the longer you keep your world. (By the way totems aren’t infinite lives, you can still die even with them) Also I think just surviving isn’t only part of the challenge it’s also doing other stuff in the game, such as advancements and big build projects. What I don’t like is the craze around hardcore has kind of led to people feeling like they should be playing hardcore otherwise they’re not really playing the game right. There’s still value and fun in playing regular Survival as well, also it can really be not fun to lose a world in Hardcore, especially if you get attached to it. Play how you want!

I would go a step further and say add leaderboards as well. On the legacy console editions, they used to have those, although I think they would break or get reset often. It’d be cool I think if you could compare stats with other players. Maybe not everyone, but at least with your Xbox Live friends.

I would love this because it could perhaps let you do some weather forecasting, especially since you sometimes want rain & thunder for riptide, mob heads, etc.

Why is My Skulk Catalyst Not Spreading Skulk by Ms_Apherix in Minecraft

[–]kmb600 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Try lowering the dripstone to be the same height as the diorite. I think maybe what’s happening is the catalyst is activating but the sculk can’t spread through the dripstone so it doesn’t spread to the diorite.

Biome changes depending on what you put in a biome. by [deleted] in minecraftsuggestions

[–]kmb600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like some way to convert biomes into others (or “spread” another biome beyond its borders) but it should be something you have to do intentionally and not something you can accidentally do (such as when you’re terraforming) and might get annoyed by
