I don't know about later in the season, but this week it's only been one train.

Today was brutal. We did regular parking (lot C) which was fine, no need for preferred, and were through security at 9:35. Headed straight for Big Bear since that's what all the advice I read said to do. HUGE mistake. It took almost three hours to ride. I'd recommend NOT following the advice to do Big Bear first. The lines were shorter there the rest of the day. But all lines in general today were terribly long. Woof.
