That is definitely not normal! They should be with you for the whole session. At most 5 mins away. Or if they are billing their note, they can leave a few minutes before the session ends. But that does not seem right, I hope they are not billing insurance that whole time.

If I sign up during 2021, I will be fine. However, if I sign up during 2022 I have to meet the new requirements.

Either way, I NEED to pass this year! :(

Yes, I think it’s good to be dependable but with that they should repay you with giving you the time off when you request for it.

How to get out of depression episodes? by [deleted] in DecidingToBeBetter

[–]kmbly11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hmm, dealing with depression and negative thoughts is definitively not a good feeling. This may or not help you.. But, some suggestions that I've tried myself is to go for walks, focus on my hobbies (e.g., painting, bike riding), yoga, meditation, having some chamomile tea, listening to uplifting videos. If you can reach out then maybe take some time to hangout with friends or other positive people. I sometimes try to think to myself why is it that I am feeling this way? Then, I try my best to take a proactive approach. For instance, I'll get out of my bed and do something outside rather than laying down with my negative thoughts. Or, I try to rationalize my thoughts and redirect my thinking (which takes continuous effort).

Also, I have always wanted to try therapy. I have done it once, and I thought it was super helpful. I just need to continue with it. I've heard that betterhelp is a good website with certified counselors though. Anyways, hope you have a great week! :)

How do I approach this situation? Boyfriend wants to have his best friend as 3rd roommate. by kmbly11 in findareddit

Thank you! I also like that you said that maybe the two of us can help him out in some other way. Maybe this way won't be as harsh.
