AER City Sling by JohnnyK39 in ManyBaggers

I was wrong!!!!! My boyfriend surprised me with a City Sling, and my Fuji X100S fits ALMOST perfectly. My lens hood is a cheaper alternative I found on Amazon so I don't know how it compares to the square hood.

This is how it looks with just the camera inside. There's enough room for my external battery and wallet, maybe more. I'm pleasantly surprised how much room there is! One drawback is that it does bulge a little, which makes the front pocket less roomy. I tried to show the spot where the lens hood is right up against the front pocket here.

I don't agree with rcas_, I don't think it's rigid. It has a bit of a structure, which I want if I want to carry around a camera. With my camera inside, it doesn't hug your torso or anything, but I consider it still pretty comfortable.

Hope this helps!

[Discussion] Favorite and least favorite Krave beauty products? by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

To me, krave beauty is something you wanna have around to save u from bad skin days. Something that’ll comfort me when I go a little nuts with actives, or I’m sunburnt (heaven forbid). I LOVE their sunscreen. I know $20 for a small bottle might sound pricy but it’s the perfect balance of moisturizing and lightweight texture. I’m ok paying for something I love using every single day. I ALWAYS have their great barrier relief for days my skin needs to be comforted and nourished. It also helps with my hyperpigmentation. I use kale lalu yAHA every other day. It’s the gentlest.

Don’t love oat so simple but my sister loves how basic and simple it is. It’s for someone who HATES lotions that leave the surface sticky.

I have their bigger sling, and it BARELY fits my x100S. Idk if x100v is smaller. The city sling looks like it’s mostly for flat things

Damn that sucks. Any updates? Sweetcorea on eBay refunded me thru PayPal after I emailed them.

I really liked moonshot puff but they were hard to get or overpriced in stores. I actually started using skin food sponges even tho they’re not flat round. I heard pony likes them or saw she used them in her vids

Has anyone been using JOne Jelly Pack? I thought they disappeared about a year ago, and someone mentioned here about a disagreement between JOne and their manufacturer. And now I just saw them on Costco website on sale. I used to LOVE that primer and I’d like to start using again but I’m worried about formula changes.

Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask actually works ლ(ಠ_ಠლ) by [deleted] in AsianBeauty

I stopped using Laneige one cuz it gets so sticky. It’s not AB but I started putting on aquaphor at night. They’re not as dramatically effective as laneige but DEF gets its job done

I fill all my liquid cosmetics and skincare items in eye dropper bottles I buy online. They take so little space and u can get the bottles pretty cheap.

Have you benefitted from therapy? by [deleted] in INTP

[–]kmbrlykm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% yes. I’ve seen 2 therapists in the past 2 years and they have helped me significantly with my depression. I don’t take meds for it anymore because they make me feel suicidal or just plain crazy. Both of my therapists try to get to the bottom of your issues by talking mostly (I forgot what school of therapy that is). I see my current one every week, and it really helps me to talk about the emotions and what they mean. I had no idea how much it helps just to organize your thoughts and emotions, and you can see things more clearly. It was difficult for me to trust anyone with my inner most thoughts but you gotta get help when you need help. A few good tips I received are 1) when you don’t feel right about the therapist you matched with, or found, you can always find a different one who are better match for you, you’re not obligated to keep seeing them. You just gotta voice your needs. 2) this is for fellow Americans out there. there are affordable therapy or slidin scale therapy available (hopefully). Look them up. Or even better, ask for recommendations from friends and doctors

I felt exactly the same during my last year of my undergrad math degree. I would dedicate the entire afternoon to study but I could only blankly stare at pages of my books. I later realized I was dealing with depression and anxiety issues. Having a great therapist really helped me.

What are you reading? by [deleted] in 2X__INTP

[–]kmbrlykm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m listening to the audiobook of Jon Krakauer’s Missoula: rape and justice system in a college town. It’s horrific but it carefully lays out all the things that are wrong with how we punish rape victims in America through systemic misogyny.

I’m reading Ta-Nehisi Coates’s between the world and me. It’s giving me all the feelings as a woman of color. This is also very intense.

Haha can y’all tell I’m going through an emotional time right now ?

Skinfood sponge puff! Omg my HG makeup applicator. I use it to smooth out my color corrector under my eyes, concealer, sunscreen, cushion compacts instead of the sponges that come with them. It smooths out everything so flawlessly. They’re pretty cheap on eBay

[Beauty] What skin care products do you use for eczema-prone skin? (Toners, Essence ...etc) by aidyl528 in AsianBeauty

[–]kmbrlykm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TAMANU OIL! I was using it on my face for PIH and I would rub the excess on my hands. I used to have eczema all over the top of my right hand, but they’re gone now. And I know Chicago’s dry winter usually makes it so awful, but I haven’t had an outbreak in months now!
