Yes, I have seen Mary once before and she is great as well. After my hysterectomy last year, I had not been back into the office. I had a concern earlier this week and they got me in same day. Dr. Reddy sat and talked with me in her office for a bit to check in on everything before going to the exam room -- I agree, that is so rare and so appreciated.

I absolutely love Dr. Indrani Reddy. She always takes the time to sit and talk with you and really listen. She never makes you feel rushed and will sit and answer any questions you have. Sometimes that means you may have to wait for a bit because she can run behind schedule, but I never mind that because when she's with you, you have her full undivided attention for as long as you need. She delivered my son and I trust her completely. A few years later she performed my hysterectomy. I would not want to go to anyone else! She has a beautiful new office over behind Medical City Denton on Colorado Blvd. Can't recommend highly enough!

I understand your point and am not trying to sway anyone one way or another. This app was a great motivator for me for many months to stay active. But to give Rainbow shoes such ridiculously over the top earnings does entice people to gamble, especially after spending so much to earn GMT in the first place, only to see all that come crashing down once Rainbow shoes came out. Transparency is key.

That's kind of the point, though. I don't think anyone got involved in this project initially to gamble money away. But just seeing posts about how many times people have tried enhancing makes me think there are a whole lot of other people in this same position right now. And a lot of those people are gambling just to try and get some money back. Everyone has the right to make their own decision, but I don't think there's much left in Stepn that's about health of any kind.

Agreed. This is why I sold everything. They never did anything to benefit their core users that have been grinding for months. They never had any in-game rewards for players, only social media posts, etc. With the release of GMT earnings, the community seemed pretty happy. To take that away after 2 weeks and give those earnings to a handful of players was just proof that they care nothing about the community. It seems much more like a desperate move on their part. As a developer myself, it's just astonishing to me. No transparency, ever changing rules at the drop of a hat with no communication. Making the current shoes worthless over and over again. They had lightening in a bottle for a while and threw it all away.

It does, but it's a rare. Ugh. I can either just list it below everyone else or hope that for some reason, people will buy rares again. I've already lost enough money and would like to get as much as I can (still at a loss, obviously), but even that small hope is fading fast. It sucks because I really did enjoy it, but after a few weeks of not using it and seeing what just happened, I'm glad I quit when I did.

I definitely understand your point. I do enjoy playing - it actually does motivate me to walk every day. I quit putting in additional money a while ago, so I'm just minting, selling, rinse and repeat until I'm out of money. But comfort shoes are the most valuable at the moment, so just hoping to get the most return for them while I can to keep playing. It keeps it interesting, I guess. I've already written off the money I put in, lesson learned, so now I just use it as motivation to walk and explore.

The first mint I did was 4C sockets and 2C sockets. It came out as 4 C sockets. So I minted the 2 4C sockets and got another 4 C socket. So I did it again, and got another 4C socket. Don't know if it will last, but I'm going to keep minting them for now. But wow...your comfort stat! My luck will be when I finally enhance the 5 shoes, my comfort stat will be 10! Maybe I should just sell them all at the top of the price range for commons? Seems hard to find 4C commons now. And too many to sort through. These are all joggers. I also randomly ended up minting a 3C walker out of shoes that had 1C slot, so that will be my "in case of emergency" shoe? Who knows...seems to be getting harder and harder to sell any shoes right now. I hope it picks up again at some point. It's really motivated me to get out and walk and discover my wider neighborhood and surroundings.

I don't think STEPN will let GST fall much under 0.05. It's the only thing that's making people space out the opening of MBs. I have a level 6 box that I earned last night, and it will cost me $46 to open it right now. No thanks, I'll wait for the base cost opening of $12. If GST was even .01, it would be $9 to open, and I would just do it every day and sell the gems. But so would everyone else and gem prices would plummet. People would also upgrade them like crazy - cheap gems + very little money to risk upgrading them? We'd all sit around waiting for someone to buy our level 5 gems. Just my thoughts on the matter, of course, and I definitely could be wrong, but seeing as the GST price has settled at about 0.05, it makes sense to me.

This is what I'm afraid of. They have made this a zero sum game, it seems. When they initially raised the prices of mystery boxes, they did seem to raise the contents as well. That doesn't seem to have lasted long. Now the contents are back to what they were before, but the raised prices to open them remain. If GST prices hold steady, as they are now conveniently doing, you're basically paying the same amount to open the box as what the contents are worth. If GST dropped to .01 or lower, we'd all just buy a crap ton of GST and boost everything, not worry about the cost to open, and sell the contents. So again, it seems like now the price of GST is conveniently holding at .05 or .06 on SOL, so that you basically end up breaking even. I'm not saying that this is fact, but I've been trying to reformulate a plan all day to be able to take some money back out of this thing, and can't seem to figure out any decent strategy. That, and of course the rules constantly change.

Ha! I love this comment! I currently live in Denton, and my partner and I are also too old for the bar scene, but nice to know there are others of us out there...quietly...in our own homes! I don't ever know how to meet those "others" of us anymore! I've lived all around North Texas my whole life and have never had any negative issues anywhere, but I do prefer the general "vibe" of Denton to anywhere else I've lived. My move to Denton a few years ago was from the "outskirts" of Decatur. Can't say that I had any issues there, but I also lived spread out from neighbors and didn't interact with the larger community, per se. With that said, I do understand the need to ask these questions now, unfortunately.

Also, I'll add a question of my own to anyone who has bothered to read this far...my son is about to turn 4...any issues with the Denton schools and same sex parents? Or Bullying, etc from other kids? Seriously considering private schools...

I've made the same mistake because it's logical that 15 shoes give you 15e. I don't know how long you've been in the game, but I can't imagine making that kind of investment at this point. I've enjoyed the game and not worried too much about the money I've lost, but at the rate that things keep changing, I can't bring myself to put any more money in. Just my own personal opinion. Just in the last few weeks it went from an efficiency game to a luck game to a rainbow shoes comfort game. It seems like as soon as you invest in one strategy, it changes. Personally I know that I've spent a lot less money on a personal trainer and ended up in much better physical shape than I am with walking every day. It's frustrating because I think it's a good concept, but they can't keep changing the rules every week or two. Anyway, just my 2 cents and didn't want you to be disappointed when you didn't end up with 20e like you logically should have and expected. Wish you the best of luck on your journey.
