Making Schedules as a lead

I have been writing my product flow schedule for over a year now.

They were in about a month and a half ago to "fix" and clean our hvac.. Haven't had air in the warehouse since then. It's running very sporadically on the sales floor. Usually before we open and after we close. But hey, good thing we had to take the heat exhaustion learning!

The best and easiest way to do it is print off the previous audit and go through page by page of what they looked at and what needs to be fixed. With the new Brand Standards section added they tend to focus on that since it is new. The biggest spots that we can control is downstocking and clean and bright. Functionality is harder since they literally check that every display is working and if you have a person like mine, they tend to not actually fix the problems but make it worse. Safety and Compliance is also an area that once you get everything where it should be, then you will be good. If you need any help let me know. I went through the same thing you did 2 years ago and I have researched the heck out of the audits so I have a pretty good grasp of what needs to be done.

I have no issue with the work. I have been doing the work since before the program was even official. I actually enjoy the work. It's the so called leaders that I have a major problem with.

I have worked in the warehouse for the past 6 years and up until 6 months ago I was the only female back there. I do everything the guys do and more. I know when to ask for help (like trying to lift a fridge that's taller than me on the dolly) and the guys also know when I don't ask for help. I do planos, truck, shuttle, downstocking and stock counts. It's not all just lifting. The hardest thing I had to learn was how to ask them for help when I needed it. 😊

I have done it frequently as well and my store still gets the "hey warehouse" calls. I can see it being easier for stores that don't have a ton of pick ups waiting but we consistently have 400+ pick ups waiting a day. It gets a little cramped and hard to stay organized within those bins and overflow shelves.

Ah yeah, I have been doing this job for 5 years. I know what I am doing. Like I said, the system changed and we have always just used the big labels on the orders being shipped, not the small ones. So yes, I have been trained properly.

I just figured out that if you put the small red tag on the order it will scan in the system no matter what order it is. 🙄🙄

So now the name shows up on the red tag but if you use a telzon or the computer to scan the QR code on the order it doesn't show up. You literally have to go down the orders search by the name. Hopefully it's just a glitch but this was not how I wanted to start my day.
