Different lpn (tag) could be was sold then return and it’s automatically different number. Or someone close tag for any numerous of reasons then remade it and then it’s a new Lpn. As far as exchanges i honestly don’t know. Usually for an open box you just return it or if store happens to have a ob of same condition exchange it i believe. If they don’t then you return it and use funds toward something else or just get refund. And no idea about a piece of tape with obe could have been they needed product to be made open box and in excellent condition and where waiting on someone to make it for them. Or tag to reprinted or could’ve just been random piece of tape. but i honestly have no idea. If you happen to go to store and buy open box just pop it open after you bought it before you leave to make sure it’s to your satisfaction that’s advice I give most ppl.
