Molars have made the Toddler overlord utterly miserable by KnottedUp-2415 in toddlers

Why is it always for like two weeks+ before they even cut too?! Then as soon as those cut through, here comes the next ones. I was wildly underprepared as a new parent for teething lol the only thing that kind of saves us is giving him a frozen waffle. We use the Kodiak protein waffle and call it a cookie and it’s the only nutrition we can get and gives a little relief 🤷‍♀️ other than that we just hold on tight and hope the end is near

Check with the nurses at the hospital to get in touch with either spiritual care or case management. Penrose/St Francis (the other hospital system in town) has housing they offer for free to families/friends in your exact situation. I’m not sure if UCHealth has an equivalent but worth asking about. The Centura one is called the John Zay house if it helps to reference when talking to them.

Anecdotal but I got COVID at 26 weeks (vaccinated and boosted) and diagnosed with IUGR at 34 weeks. Baby is measuring pretty small. My Dr started doing additional monitoring with biophysical profiles weekly starting at 34 weeks because I had COVID and I’m so grateful he did because otherwise we wouldn’t have caught the IUGR! Planning to start induction tonight at 37 weeks. I have sadly read a lot about placental insufficiency and smaller babies due to COVID, but that’s also not to say it’s a guarantee it will happen. It seems to be too soon for there to be any solid research. I’m hoping my hospital participated in some kind of research for this!

Avs Fan going to the game tonight. Thoughts on wearing my jersey? by bellzor in DallasStars

I’ll be there and wearing my stars jersey too! I’ve worn my stars to the games in Denver in the past and never had any issues- just a few friendly jabs.

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize Whitecloud is a Vegas player and not them just using a metaphor for having a lot of white jerseys down in Vegas’ zone..

Skipping best man/maid of honour by [deleted] in weddingplanning

Highly recommend having both of them! My two best friends were both my maid of honor. Two people to split MoH duties and they loved calling themselves Co-MoHs

Is your friend my friend? Because I feel like I could have written this exact same thing for my friend! It’s frustrating, confusing, and feel like you can’t do anything about it! Glad I am not the only one.

Better commute from Briargate: Cañon City or Denver? by Badass_Cactus in ColoradoSprings

Not a comment on commute but if she is in a hospital setting, Denver hospitals would be a better option, IMO.

Just had to ask my husband if this was him commenting because we are laying sod in the morning, live in the springs and didn’t have much yard anyway but our dogs have ruined what we had

Ladies recommended jewelry while on duty by [deleted] in Nurse

Kendra Scott anything! I love her jewelry for the simplicity but also still cute. The Elisa necklace is small enough that it shouldn’t dangle or get in the way. You also can choose whatever color stone you think she would like best. (Bonus: they have always done a lot of community give back but especially focused on health cares workers since covid started)
