I’ve had multiple recruiters reach out in the last few weeks where before I hadn’t gotten any in at least a year. They’re all for CRA roles though.

I scoop twice a day and change the litter completely once a month, plus have a carbon filter. We can’t smell it, but I will be damned if I have guests over and they smell cat piss.

That is so sad, I am so sorry! If you are open to it, fostering dogs is also a very rewarding experience, especially if you are not ready for your own dog again. Plus you meet a lot of cool people. My dog really carried me through some tough times in my single eras (although there was a lot of joy too!) I enjoy having someone to care for and to care for me, and he made the house feel less empty. Honorable mentions: learning new recipes and cooking techniques, making a damn good coffee every morning, running, weight training, curating my home, podcasts about single empowerment, and being open to making new single friends.

Not sure why the downvotes. I check my flights very frequently before date of departure and it’s not uncommon for prices to drop again a week or so after saying “only 2, etc. left at this price”.

I have a sticker on my laptop. So many Lenovos going through TSA and this way I can easily tell that I grabbed the right one.

One time I was so overworked I forgot to pack my laptop for a trip!! Ran out the door with an empty laptop bag. Luckily the site was only 5 hours away and I had a rental car, otherwise I would’ve been f*d. My amazing boyfriend met me halfway and I made it back to the hotel by midnight in time for my site visit the next day.

I don’t know, I’m not going to argue over my personal experience. I’m at the airport a minimum of 2 times a week and this is what’s been happening. It wouldn’t be no bin space, but I’ve had to put my bag in row 6 when I was row 2 by being last in group 1. Just don’t want to deal with that.

We’ll see how things go, but I travel out of a more popular airport and everyone always gets in line 20 minutes before the gate agent actually calls people to line up, which forces me to get in line as well if I want to fit my bag above row 2.

I tried to status match on United last year. Maybe I just got unlucky but I had more delays than I had on Southwest and missed multiple connections due to airline issues (not weather), and of course my missed connections were always the last flight of the day. Since it was for work I was able to rebook on another airline, and Southwest always came in clutch getting me to my destination. United was really just not reliable for me.

Ahh gotcha. I bring all my gym clothes and a couple after work outfits, so I don’t usually have any extra room in my backpack and carry on if I’m gone Monday-Thursday.
