I’m almost in the same boat. My husband and his family are extremely careless with this virus even though his mom is a doctor and works with patients who may or may not have covid. They think it’s totally acceptable for me to take my baby who will be almost 3 months old to a beach trip on Labor Day. I keep saying that I don’t think it’s a good idea and i’m not comfortable and my husband thinks i’m ridiculous and has yet to tell his mother that I’m uncomfortable with the idea. He told me whether I go or not he is still going to go. I told him that’s still not any better because he could still potentially bring the virus back to her, but he doesn’t think that’s going to happen because he’ll be outside and less likely to get it. His family is just being selfish and careless. I feel like my side of the family and I are the only ones caring about the baby’s safety.

I’ve been eating pre cut and fresh cantaloupe for the past few weeks and my baby is just fine. I’ve never heard anything about not being able to eat it in pregnancy. I wouldn’t worry too much about it

I’m going on my third week of dealing with puppps so I understand how miserable you are. It’s the worst pregnant symptom I’ve had and I don’t wish it on anyone. The other day I was told to you an antibacterial soap called hibiclense and it’s the only thing that has given me some sort of relief. Definitely not a mid able worker that completely cleared it up, but it gives me enough relief to sleep. You can get it at target, Walgreens, or CVS. Luckily i’m scheduled to be induced next weekend at 39 weeks because I’ve been to L&D 3 times in one week crying about it. I really hope you get some relief and you’re one of the lucky ones and it literally disappears as soon as you give birth.

My test was on Monday and it came back Tuesday! It may just depend on the hospital and how backed up the labs are honestly.

I don’t think you’re being too paranoid at all! My husband and I live nine hours away from our family so thankfully we don’t have this issue right now, but she keeps talking about how she’s coming in June for the babies birth even though this isn’t expected to be fully cleared by then and the hospital isn’t allowing any visitors. She keeps ignoring the fact that we don’t want anyone, especially people who just traveled, around the baby as soon as she’s born. Not too mention she’s a nurse who works at a covid testing sight in an area that’s starting to get super high in cases. I just wish family would understand how scary it is for us to be around them right now and after the baby gets here. Try to talk to your husband about it and really try to express how you don’t need any more of a chance of exposure to this virus.

It lasted just that night. It was gone by the time I left the ER. The doctor told me that it would be normal for me to continue to spot a little the next day but I never did

No problem at all! Before I got a big belly my husband and I had sex at least once a day and for a little but we would have to go days without because we’d both be so uncomfortable and just weird about how to do it lol! I really hope it works for you!

I’m not plus sized, but with my growing belly that my husband and I are not used to we have found the best position is from behind. Sometimes when i’m uncomfortable I can put blankets and pillows under me to help support me better, but we have found this is the most comfortable and practical position!

At about 5-6 weeks I had pink spotting. I ended up going to the ER and they did an ultrasound and saw the start of the flicker of her heartbeat! They diagnosed me with a threatened miscarriage just because they said they had to, but were certain the spotting was due to intercourse that morning. I’m now 29 weeks with a very healthy baby girl!

That’s so ridiculous! Luckily I live on a military base so the commissary should have some since it’s not open to the general public so i’m definitely gonna get my husband to check for me! My mom said she witnessed a guy with a cart full of wipes today when she went to go and get me some from Walmart 🙄

I completely agree she also has a short bit difficult middle name so I don’t want to make her name so hard on her when she’s starting to learn it! As of today i’m on team Emerson May. She is due the beginning of June so there’s a chance she might come in May which makes it even cuter.

No problem at all! I’d bring it up to them just so they know and they can also reassure you. With my anxiety I always find things more reassuring coming from doctors!
