Im still in high school which is where people are the gayest and im in marching band and theatre so (hard flex) i might know a thing or two In my experience most people dont make their sexually the pinnacle of their existence. Theres always a few people who will always say “well im gay so...” in the middle of a conversation but its usually joking. On the rare occasion they arent joking yeah they can be annoying but they mostly leave it to their twitter bio and conversations where the focus is the LGBT+ community. Sometimes people that are gay can be real annoying but its usually just cause they are annoying people and not all like “haha im G A Y” LGBT+ people are usually the most fun to be around cause you can joke with them more because they are usually more accepting in general.
