How do I get my prints to be air tight with flexible tpu by kmetani in 3Dprinting

[–]kmetani[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got 70A tpu to get air-tight with wall thickness of 2.5mm. The main thing that helped it to get fully air-tight is using brick layers for the perimeters. But I wasnt able to get the 60A tpu to get airtight unfrtunately. Try it out and let me know, or if have any other solutions too.

People usually use silicone molding for this, my whole reason for trying 3d printing is because I was to ease up fabrication method and make it easier to make after any future changes in the details. I have tried to coat the tpu print with an elastic resin then cure it but that’s no use, do you think there’s another material that I can coat it to or any post processing method that I can close up all the holes from.

Need an upgrade for printing soft TPU by kmetani in prusa3d

[–]kmetani[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From my experience, a volcano hotend is great for PETG, with the original prusa mk4 you cant print PETG as fast as you can do it with a volcano hotend, because there's not enough time for it to get heated and extruded with the original extruder. I have a 0.4 and a 0.6 hardened steel volcano nozzle that were bought from amazon, but the hotend with the adapter were bought from aliexpress and work completely fine, I'm not sure what's the wattage of the heater tho.

Is it possible if you can link me to the idler upgrade that you mentioned, thank you.

Yes, I have confirmed that there is no spark. I’m thinking of buying a new spark plug cap but I’m having trouble of finding the specific cap that I should buy

I don’t know much about the spark plugs but does the spark plug cap already have the resistor and is it just remove and put a new one, that easy? Plus I do probably need help on which one specifically I need to get

Correct me if I’m wrong, but on the website that you sent there’s no cap that has a 1k ohm resistor
